I note your disappointing review, however as Blue China did not open until Whitsun this year I think it unlikely you visited our restaurant.

“Lovely cream tea”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 March 2014

My partner and I visited here for a cream tea in February 14. The scones were freshly baked that day and were huge! They tasted delicious and were served with a generous dollop of cream and jam.
We enjoyed it so much we went back the following day and had a toast which again was delicious and with a lovely view of the sea.
I would efinitey recommend visiting this cafe if you are in the Criccieth area.

“Breakfast with a brilliant view.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 October 2013

A trip to Criccieth isn't complete without a Blue China breakfast !
We camp nearby every summer & a Blue China breakfast is the perfect start to the day at least once a week.
We try to be on the doorstep as they open, then head upstairs to sit in the window for that wonderful view. Two adults, two ravenous teenagers & an eight year old. Always service with a smile too. The young man who served us this summer was polite & friendly. Everything always cooked freshly to order.
If you're early enough you may be able to find free parking on the seafront nearby too.
Tip. How to torment two teenagers on thier Birthday. Drag them out of thier sleeping bags & make them smile for the camera ! They did cheer up when they got thier huge breakfasts, honestly !!
Thankyou Blue China, see you again next summer !

“Welsh hospitality”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 October 2013

Stopped here for morning coffee and to taste Welsh Cakes on our walk while out and about in Criccieth. We sat outside looking over the bay in warm sunshine to await the delights served promptly by a young lass. Well worth a visit. I left a purchase on the seat (in error) and was so happy to return later to be handed said package by a young man. Thank you for that.
