Second visit to this very excellent B&B. Spotlessly clean, very spacious and extremely comfortable room (No1) with fantastic views over sea to mountains and lovely en-suite. First class breakfast- delicious fruit salad and beautifully cooked food. Very friendly owners and most relaxing. Convenient parking and location. Only minor criticism would be exterior which could be enhanced with tidy up of garden and some colourful plants which would only but enhance business!

Room Tip: Room 1 on first floor is spacious and fantastic views.

Stayed at Glanllifon when going to a wedding nearby. An excellent b&b, with a stunning view of the sea. Comfy beds, spacious bedrooms and a very chilled out, relaxing atmosphere. A warm welcome was received with a tasty home-cooked breakfast. Would definitely stay again. Diolch yn fawr iawn.

I stayed for three nights in August, and had a wonderfully comfy double bedded room on the top floor all to myself, at no extra charge. The en-suite shower room was sparklingly clean, with big white towels, oodles of hot water. Breakfasts were lovely - plenty of choice, fresh fruit salad with blueberries, strawberries, grapes - not the usual chopped apple in orange juice (!), full cooked breakfast if you wanted. The morning newspapers were on a chair if you had the time to spend over a leisurely read. The atmosphere is laid back, and the owners absolutely charming...I had a problem with getting cash from my bank when I was due to pay on leaving - "Send us a cheque, that'll be fine", was the reply. (They don't take cards). That was wonderfully unstressing - and of course, I went straight back when I managed to get the cash out of my bank, rather than make such a great place wait for payment. Are there any negatives? I guess the room would be smallish for two people, but that wouldn't worry me at all. I'd stay here again. Highly recommended.

My partner and I stayed at Glanllifon for an Easter break and only arrived home today. We couldn't wait to leave a review about this B and B. firstly, we stayed in room 3 with unrivalled views out over the sea. To wake up to this beautiful scenery was a thrill in itself....and then came the delicious breakfast! We are a gay couple and were certainly given a welcome in the hillside and the owners really couldn't have done anymore to make sure our stay was clean, comfortable and pleasant. Parking is not a problem as there is a free car park across the road. One thing we would like to mention is the en suite could do with updating but it is acceptable and clean as it is. We will definitely be returning.

Room Tip: Room 3 has a fabulous view

I stayed overnight on 4th April 2012 and was lucky enough to get Room 3 on the top floor with an uninterrupted view of the sea right in front and the snowy mountain peaks through the side window. It was perfectly quiet, a large, sunny, well-appointed room tastefully furnished, with very nice bedding, pleated blinds and a beautiful bowl on the window sill. The bed was extremely comfortable, linen crisp , duvet soft and lots of plump pillows, so I enjoyed the best night's sleep for ages. It was followed by the best breakfast: very good orange juice and range of cereals (I couldn't manage yogurt or fresh fruit that was offered as well), followed by a plate of expertly cooked bacon, sausage, egg and tomatoes. I had turned down fried bread and mushrooms. The egg was a good colour and texture - not a supermarket battery-produced one I thought, and confirmed that they and the excellent bacon and sausage are all locally sourced from the butcher just up the hill, the bread fresh from the bakery ditto. The coffee was excellent, and a second pot was quickly brought when I requested more. Afterwards I made time to cross the road and walk along the coast path for a short way as the scenery and the weather were so beautiful.
The owners could not have done more to make my brief stay any more comfortable, they are a friendly welcoming couple and I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a value-for-money peaceful break.
