We ate here on a Sunday evening, after seeing the Chef's express menu outside had meals I fancied, but inside it was different on the board, it hadn't been updated outside. We ordered our meals and got drinks, then realised how many people still had to be served. They did start to turn people away unless they could wait 45 minutes, but we were not told anything and probably waited nearly an hour, without any apology. However my mushroom risotto was delicious, it came with new potatoes which I thought a little strange with a rice dish but they were the best I have had in years. The chilli beef was good but not very spicy said my husband. I then had the trio of mini desserts which were outstanding, the lemon cheesecake had an intense flavour, the chocolate brownie really good and the crème brulee smooth and creamy. The chef is obviously doing a great job maybe he needs some help when it's busy, especially as there are so few places to eat in Criccieth on a Sunday night.
