We stayed at the Seabank for 2 nights in August, and I would recommend this hotel. The owners of this hotel are very nice and helpful, and it was a pleasure to stay with them.
We decided to stay in their spa room with sea views (55 pounds per night), and the room was fantastic, it was well worth it. The room looked lovely, and had 2 armchairs at a bay window with great views. The bathroom is very large, and the spa bath good, although a little small for 2 people. There is no shower, but a detachable shower head was provided. The only issue with this room is that the curtains are very thin, so it gets light very early in the morning.
A friend stayed in a regular double ensuite room (about 45 pounds), which was also a very nice room. There are also tables and chairs outside, which are great in the evening to sit and watch the sunset over the sea.
The hotel is walking distance to everything (although there is not much to do in Criccieth except visit the castle and the beach). There is one fish and chip shop in town which has long lines and the food is horrible. The renowned ice cream shop in town is worth a visit.
