“A Fantastic Retreat and all you could want in a beautiful cosy cottage in a wonderful location”
Reviewed 9 August 2014 for a stay in July 2014

We had a wonderful stay in Fir Tree Cottage it is situated in a beautiful location on the outskirts of Snowdonia to the left and within a few minutes’ walk to a spectacular beach.

The cottage itself is a cosy retreat for any couple who love long walks along the beach after a wonderful dinner at one of the lovely restaurants, our favourite was Poachers, however if you fancy a cosy night in all the facilities are available at this cottage for making an evening perfect.

Ann was brilliant very entertaining as we sat in her beautiful garden one afternoon, such a lovely lady with a wonderful sense of humour that had us just laughing all afternoon, it was a lot of fun.

We are already planning out trip back for next year as we so enjoyed our stay here

“Perfect!”
Reviewed 26 July 2014 for a stay in July 2014

I'm so pleased I stumbled upon this little gem of a cottage whilst on my internet travels searching for our holiday accommodation. The perfect haven for two people. Clean, comfortable and has everything you could ever need or want for a relaxing stay. The owners Ann and Richard were so friendly and welcoming, they made us feel right at home from the start. They were also quite happy to welcome our little dog too. With free rein of the lovely gardens and a two minute walk to the beach and shops within walking distance, there was hardly any need to leave Criccieth. We loved it here. Thanks Ann and Richard we'll be back.

“Comfortable and good value cottage”
Reviewed 13 July 2014 for a stay in July 2014

Although small, the cottage was comfortable and good value. Clean and tidy with lovely garden. It is probable situated in the nicest village or town along this part of the coast.
The owners were very
Shops and cafes close by.
Close to many places of interest, the best of which was Portmerion, good value to visit with free parking and reasonable priced, good cafes for a meal or ice cream, and free guided tours. This was in contrast to Snowdon mountain railway which was expensive, cramped and uncomfortable and the car park nearby had the nerve to charge a hefty fee...a total rip off.
