We are regular visitors to Criccieth, but have struggled previously to find accommodation that has been to our liking. However, our stay at the Glyn y Coed has now put an end to that! We had a great sized room, with a king size bed in a room over looking the castle. There was fantastic attention to detail within the room - candles and wine glasses to name a few. The room was very clean, the bathroom was clean and modern. The downstairs in the hotel was also great - the living area was immaculate and relaxing, and the hotel bar was very well stocked with every drink you could think of. The breakfast in the morning was also very nice. The cooked breakfast was good, not too greasy and portion size was just right - but the fresh fruit salad was even better!! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and have already recommended it to friends and family.

Very attractive and comfortable room with outstanding views of castle and coastline. Entire hotel is well furnished, decorated, and airy. Owners are friendly and very attentive. Very convenient to the city center and restaurants and a great base for the Llyn. One of the best we've experienced in Wales. Highly recommended.

This was our third stay and everything was just a speical as the first visit. Absolutely spotless, beautiful rooms with lots of special little touches and lovely friendly hosts. The whole place has a relaxing feel and such a special touch to it. Lovely breakfasts and a stunning location. We always look forward to visiting. There is always lots to do within a short distance from the hotel and there is an array of eateries on the doorstep. One of the best places in Wales that we stayed at.

This was a great hotel with a lovely atmosphere and really good value. Rooms were small, but clean and very nicely furnished & decorated. We also got a key in the letterbox because owners were out. But once they returned they couldn't have been more friendly ! Julie is lovely and so helpful and nice. Thanks for a fantastic stay in North Wales!
