Can't praise this hotel enough. The room was lovely with views overlooking the castle and the beach. Delicious breakfasts and very friendly staff. It was also great to sit outside and make use of the honesty bar! Very close to Criccieth centre with it's pubs and restaurants and it was excellent value for money. We would highly recommend it.

Room Tip: Would recommend choosing a room with a sea and castle view

We arrived late in the afternoon , greeted by Julie who showed us to our room and explained everything, then offered us tea on the patio. What a welcome, the rest of our stay was equally as lovely. The hotel/B&B was extremely clean and very well presented, the rooms are tastefully decorated and the fixtures and fitting were not tatty or old. Everything was as you would hope and expect it to be. The breakfasts were lovely and the offerings again as you would hope or expect, the cooked breakfast was done beautifully and served on lovely white china, they do have an honesty bar for evening drinks if you want one which is a nice touch. The cost of the rooms are not expensive and are certainly in,line with other B&Bs locally and throughout the uk . But choose carefully as some are not as lovely as this place. I would with respect say that it is not what I would call a place for children though it's more of an adult establishment . That does not mean the Julie does not not take children I don't know but I would say it's more adult orientated . The rooms do differ slightly in decor etc but all are lovely, and Julie and her partner really understand what hospitality is about. Well done to you both, great place.

Room Tip: Try to book the sea view rooms, you might get to see the dolphins if your lucky.

We booked with only a weeks notice, the only accommodation they had left was 'The Annexe'. It was a small building on the back of the hotel. It was very clean & decorated nicely but very small & hot. Would definatly go back to the hotel but not the annexe. The breakfast was good & staff friendly. Location was also good.

Room Tip: Dont have the Annexe. To eat out in Cricceith on a friday or saturday you need to book the in adva...

When we arrived, we were over an hour early than the specified check in time, but we were allowed to check in early, which was great. The staff were very friendly and even the dog was pleased to see us every time we walked in! The room was extremely clean, we have never seen a hotel room so clean. Although the room was a little small, it had everything you needed (I think we had the smallest room in the hotel though). We slept well every night as due to its location, it was always very quiet. It is located a short walk from the beach and Criccieth town, which has lots of nice restaurants and quaint shops. The breakfast was delicious (especially the bacon and sausage from the butchers )and served promptly. We would definitely stay again :)

At the end of May my wife and I were lucky enough to spend a couple of nights at this B&B.
We found our room, no 7, clean, bright and large with plenty of wardrobe space. The view of the Castle worth paying a little extra for. Breakfast was more than adequate with everything you might expect. Julie was very helpful with suggestions on what to do during are short stay in this small but delightful town of Criccieth.

Room Tip: Choose a Castle facing room.

All the parts of this hotel that we saw were spotlessly clean and beautifully cared for with lovely decor throughout. Our bedroom (Room 1) was spacious and offered lovely views (beach in one direction and castle in the other). The staff were friendly and welcoming.

I don't believe that I have ever stopped in a hotel with such high standards of cleanliness and service. And add to that the atmosphere that Julie and her staff create and you finish up with a friendly and enjoyable base from which to explore the many attractions of the area.

Room Tip: There are sea views, but even though our room was at the rear of the property, it still had a pleasa...
