Superb hotel. First visit but not the last. Had a seaview room on front of hotel and what a view, wow. Room was clean, very comfortable. Food was excellent, both at breakfast & evening meal. Very comfortable bar,lounge area. Staff were attentive, very helpful & friendly. Couldn't do enough for you. Will definitely be back. Criccieth is known as the Pearl of Wales on the shores of Snowdonia, but the Caerwylan Hotel is the real gem.More

The views from the hotel are stunning, overlooking the sea views across to Snowdonia and the castle. Staff very friendly and cooed well with COVID restrictions. Room comfortable and very clean. Breakfast wonderful, restaurant food top quality and bar well stocked. We will be back !

We stop in room 27 what a view!! Beautifully decorated room.
We had a 3 course meal for 9 people the food was beautiful and breakfast was lovely too the hotel was perfectly clean, with hand sanitiser at the front entrance and in the bedrooms, temperatures. Where taken on arrival at check in desk which made us feel very at ease.
John in the bar was fabulous nothing was to much trouble for him he was extremely attentive and the rest of the staff where great to.
I have no doubt we will stopping here again in the very near future.

This was my first experience of this hotel and it was first class. Of course COVID precautions were in place but this didn’t effect our stay, in fact made us feel more comfortable. The rooms are clean, fresh and comfortable with extremely good showers. The views from the lounge and front bedrooms are exceptional. The lovely staff are the jewel in this hotels crown, special mention must be made of Laura who looked after us so very well. We will most definitely return to this hotel in the future.

We have been here many times but only now a second time since the old days of previous ownership. It is nudging towards quite expensive, but for high season and a full-on sea view, we can't really be too bothered by that. The Tonnau restaurant is simply excellent and is maybe worth a full review all of its own; really, definitely book in for dinner upon arrival, you will not be disappointed.
We really appreciate the parking garages and there are plenty of seats outside if the weather allows and a well-stocked bar.
The most noticeable thing here is the quality of the staff and the genuine warmth of their welcome. The owner was always smiling and pleasant, the bar was equally professional and friendly and the sensational Laura in the restaurant at breakfast was a total credit to the hotel. Terrific reception staff, not least the young lady on our arrival with her excellent taste in football teams.

Last minute booking, never been to Criccieth before, didn’t know what to expect as hadn’t done the usual Trip Advisor ‘check’!
We were totally blown away!! A real gem of a hotel. Fabulous staff from check in to dining room, bar to housekeeping. We were made to feel so welcome and felt relaxed we didn’t want to leave.
Good food, (best Fillet Steak EVER!) amazing menu choice, Large Welsh/Small Welsh breakfast recommended, sumptuous furniture, HUGE, comfy bed, COVID-19 implementations ✔️
