“Child friendly gem”
Reviewed 13 May 2012 via mobile

Me and my family usually come here every Sunday and the food and service is excellent.
Anne is a lovely lady and is brilliant with children she goes above and beyond to ensure her customers are happy even the little ones, every Sunday my son Charlie has his usual grapes for breakfast ( which are brought in especially for him)
If my son is having a off day Anne gets one of the teddy bears out of the window to cheer him up.
The food is great thick fresh bread with real butter fresh sausages thick bacon (not the cheap stuff) excellent.
This little gem is at the foot of the lovely mawddach trail it's the perfect place to re charge you batteries for that cycle ride.
All in all this lovely cafe/ restaurant is amazing and the owners make a great team effort food wise and customer service wise to ensure there customers are always happy.

“Small but top place for breakfast/lunch”
Reviewed 30 January 2012

Have avoided this place in the past (years ago) as it never looked that good but it was the best bet on a wet Sunday :-). The food (toasties and breakfasts) was really good and really filling (we didn't eat again till late that day). The lack of a kids' menu was a bit of a let down as even the smaller portions aren't fantastic for kids but I wouldn't say it's a reason to avoid it. We will definitely be going again!

“Maybe ok for breakfast but not evening”
Reviewed 29 May 2011

Evening meal was very disappointing. So wouldn't go back for that, may try the breakfast one day as that seemed to get good reviews.

“To die for!!”
Reviewed 4 May 2011

I was on holiday in north wales while I came across this cafe on the car park ( the one with tea pots on wall) we enterd to a lovely setting with old fashioned books to a flat screen mounted on the wall to keep you updated on the latest news.
There was a few clocks two of which chimed every quarter of an hour which set the mood just right.
The toliet is more than equipped even with complementey deodorants. Now on to the food, I
orderd the fish, beer batterd humongous lightley batterd it was mouth watering served with a big helping of chips and mushy peas. My partner opted for the breakfast
let's just say if it was possible hewould of made me carry him home. Extra thick toast butter massive meaty sossagues gammon like bacon it all made the trip with while.

“Wish it were closer to home, lucky Dolgellau!”
Reviewed 2 March 2011

Having found this cafe through recommendation we came through from our stay in Mach well worth the detour one not to be missed four of us had what we agreed was the best breakfast we had enjoyed bacon nearly as thick as gammon and real pork sausage very rare in a cafe excellent value. You dont leave this cafe hungry we could not eat again until supper and we are four large bikers with good appetites. In conclusion would we go back without doubt what time do they open
