If visiting the area this walk is must. An old time favourite not too difficult once a a short up hill walk from the start of the path.Parts of the path on the precipice is quite narrow. so children would need to be supervised but worth it for the great views. It takes I would say depending on ability from 1 to 2 hours. For those not wanting to do the height there's always the walk around the lower lake path that's flat. Dogs allowed although it is sheep country so be prepared to use a dog lead and the lake is a local reservoir. Fishing is allowed on the lake with a permit. A really beautiful spot.
