After seeing all the positive reviews on trip adviser I knew this was the place for us.

The cottage is gorgeous, all the facilities are immaculate and considered. We loved everything from the crockery in the kitchen to all the heated stone floors.

This cottage is perfect for a welsh adventure. With it's lovely view and great walks from straight outside the cottage once you there you don't really need to go anywhere else! Saying that from the cottage we drove to Snowdon so we could climb it and to Black Rock Beach near Porthmadog, both which were about an hour away. The near by town (5 min drive) has a very handy co-op with everything you would need and some good pubs.

Lovely place to stay for a couple interested in the outdoors.

Coed stable was recommended by a friend, we booked on this basis. Delighted to find that cottage was as described and well furnished. Wi-Fi connection very reliable. Very quiet area and no passing traffic. Enjoyable relaxing holiday.

“Great location, beautifully decorated rental.”
Reviewed 25 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

We stayed here in August for a week. We loved the location; close to Dolgellau (half an hour walk although the return walk up the hill is a bit daunting after a big dinner) and a much easier stroll to the Cross Foxes pub. Very quiet and peaceful with immediate access to walking routes and then easy access to other walking routes and to mountain biking.
It is very warm, cosy and immaculately presented; it's not often you take style tips on decor from a holiday rental but this is really lovely.

Very nice and comfortable holiday-house, very tastefull renovated. All the comfort needed, good bed, complete kitchen, quiet surroundings, though just 5 min. to Dolgellau. Kind hosts and housekeeper. Eric & Vera, Antwerp (Belgium).

“Great getaway location for a couple”
Reviewed 29 June 2014 for a stay in June 2014

We absolutely loved our stay at coed stable and have already recommended this to friends and family.
Before we arrived we were emailed very helpful directions and contact info which made it very easy to find despite its remote and peaceful location.
On arrival, we were welcomed with a small bunch of freshly picked flowers and a folder full of information on everything we needed to know about the cottage (wifi/heating instructions etc) and also walks and pubs in the area.
The cottage was decorated to a high standard, very clean, and has a lovely courtyard with furniture that gets the sun all day.
We had a lovely relaxing stay.

“Wonderful relaxing stay”
Reviewed 22 June 2014 for a stay in June 2014

It was clear that much thought and love had gone into the setup of this charming cottage, from the lovely fluffy bedding to the underfloor heating and fast and efficient wifi. We had a wonderful relaxing stay, beginning with the welcome bottle of wine from the owners, through to the peace and quiet of the area broken up only by the varied bird life.

The cottage is located about 5 minutes drive from Dolgellau and close to many walking trails and the fine restaurants in town. There is no need to pick up any information of the surrounding area as this has all been provided. Just arrive, unpack and enjoy!
