Well what can I say a fabulous, well situated barn. Yes as in other review the adjoining properties do prevent you from opening your curtains, but to be honest the best views are to the front of the property anyway. This did not spoil our stay at all. We have enjoyed having the views from the living area and the easy access to the surrounding areas. We brought our dog Poppy, who tried to make friends with Nell (the farm dog.) eventually by the end of the week they became good friends.
I would say if you are going to look for fault your going to find them. Yes there are small things, but nothing that either spoils the holiday or hinders the beautiful experience or scenery of the cottage.

We stayed here for a week 20th June the barn was ok with just few things that were disappointing, the barn is immediately adjoining the two farm houses, in the bedrooms there are large windows directly overlooking the other properties meaning you have to keep the curtains closed if you are in the bedroom. The farm was quiet with no early morning activity, but in the evening just as you sit outside for glass of something the pack of hounds in the valley start their evening barking, although you can't see them they are quite loud and it really spoils the tranquility of the area. The cottage was generally clean but there were areas that could have been better, there are a lot of beams and they were very dusty, the area behind the cooker and below shelves was greasy and looked as if something had Been spilt and run down the walls. The most off putting thing was the strong smell of heating oil in the second bedroom where the boiler was situated, I would not have slept in the room and we kept the door shut but you could still smell it at the top of the stairs. The wooden bath mats were black underneath! The smoke/ fire alarm in the kitchen was broken. The area of Wales is lovely and we generally enjoyed the week.
