Thank you to Claire for making our honeymoon stay outstanding with nothing being too much trouble. The room we stayed in was clean and more than comfortable with en-suite, TV/DVD and tea and coffee facilities, the cooked breakfast was delicious and we had more than enough choice of cereals, muffins and fresh fruit. i can not recommend this place enough

Thank you to Claire and her family for making our stay so lovely last weekend. We didn't arrive until 10.30pm and received a very warm welcome indeed. The B&B room was spotless and very comfortable, the style was traditional and in keeping with the farm cottage environment. Our little boy loved every minute of the stay, feeding the ponies and saying good morning to the chickens and stroking the most beautiful farm cat. Our room had everything we needed for us and although it did not have a television we enjoyed being able to sit in the lounge area and watch the TV in there. Breakfast was superb, no grease in sight, perfectly cooked and Claire provided us with everything we needed - nothing was too much trouble. We will most certainly stay with Claire and her family again in the near future.

Room Tip: we had a family room - good space and good facilities.

I always look forward to staying at Gwynfryn Farm, the hospitality of the owners is second to none. The location is idyllic and all the accommodations are superb, having had the pleasure of staying in almost every property they possess. This time round I had the pleasure of staying in the studio which is light and contemporary and a great place to stay for a short break with family and fantastic for a couple if you just want to get away for a short while.

During our stay we were treated to the most wonderful breakfast, prepared by Clare which was to die for, eggs cooked to your liking sausages, bacon, beans and mushrooms fried to perfection in welsh salted butter absolutely delicious and unlimited amounts of toast. A great way to start the day!!

If your uming and erring about where to stay look no further as Gwynfryn Farm has it all. The Roman Steps and Nantcol waterfall being only ten minutes away, Shell beach, Harlech castle and town centre and the slate caverns all within easy reach of the properties. Short walks in the nearby woods. The tranquility of the location and the warmth and friendliness of Clare and her family will have you returning year after year like us!

This was our 7th year returning to Gwynfryn Farm. We have seen it evolve over the years and the accommodation has been updated to a high level. There are only one or two rooms remaining to updated. And WiFi has been installed - though the thick farmhouse walls make reception tricky. But we don't go for the WiFi! The reason for going back it's because the welcome, accommodation and the huge breakfast can't be beaten. The farmhouse is ideally situated for hill walking, and Snowden isn't too many miles away. There are several places to eat in the village which is a short walk away, and there is a lovely beach nearby. I can highly recommend Gwynfryn Farm as a place to stay.

We've been going to GwynFryn Farm for 10 years now and love it so much we have to come back every year. An amazingly down to earth and friendly family run set of cottages that are cosy, clean and well run. Attention to detail and a real Welsh authenticity with each individual cottage (we've stayed in them all!).

Don't pay any notice to the previous review about the b&b being average and disappointing. We've always been very happy with them and each time we come they've even improved and updated certain cottages (not that they needed it!)

As for the breakfast! I haven't had one like it in YEARS and enjoyed it so much I didn't want it to end!! Couldn't fault a thing with it and can't see what the other review was going on about? Anyway...chat please all the people all the time eh.

We'll be coming back very soon to try out the newest room of theirs which looks like a boutique style room and simply amazing. Can't wait. As for the wifi, there's a wifi room where you can go but tbh I've loved the fact we can just cut ourselves off from wifi and emails (it is a holiday and really feels like one when you do). But if you need it it's there :)

Just want to also say while I'm writing this, thanks so much to Clare and her family for being so accommodating. Made our stay feel very special indeed. xxx

My mother, my dog and I stayed for three nights in Granary Cottage, one of a number of self catering properties in this beautiful location.

The cottage was immaculately tidy and clean, well equipped and comfortable. It sits within farm buildings, most of which have been tastefully and sympathetically converted into residential properties. Numerous farm animals (cats, a dog, hens, chickens, ponies, ducks and sheep) added interest to the location without intruding on our privacy or quiet. Our dog was welcome and allowed to sleep in the property. Alternatively he could have slept in our car where he would have been warm in both winter or summer as there is a car port right by the property.

Although we were staying in self catering accommodation we were able to take the option of having breakfast which was lavish and delicious. As a vegetarian I can't comment on the meat but I understand that it and the eggs are all locally produced, the eggs on the farm itself. I tended to join my mother for breakfast after walking the dog and was always offered fresh tea and hot toast on arrival, plus fresh fruit, muesli, cereal or yogurt. This breakfast was better than the 5* London hotel breakfast I had had recently.

Our hosts were charming, friendly and hospitable. They were happy to chat and were incredibly generous with little extras that added comfort. Throughout our stay they were eager to ensure that we were comfortable in every way and happy with our stay. They work harder than any B and B/self-catering hosts I have ever met and the results are plain in this lovely group of cottages.

We were shown the Bed and Breakfast accommodation which is newly refurbished and decorated to a very high standard.

There was no internet access in our cottage itself but one only had to walk a few feet to get access from the main house. Similarly there was no 02 signal but I was able to pick one up at various points in the nearby village of Llanbedr, and although I never thought I'd say this, I was really happy to be out of range for a few days.

The farm cottages are about a mile away from the village of Llanbedr in the most beautiful part of Britain I have visited for a very long time. The bluebell woods were absolutely stunning as were the waterfalls in the Nantcol valley. Harlech castle is magnificent and Harlech beach in April was quiet and unspoilt.

Room Tip: All rooms are lovely.
