We booked through Hoseasons for a Beaumaris 2 Bedroom Mobile. This caravan itself was brand new and was decorated to a very haigh standard including an comfy Corner Setteee, 32" Flat screen, dvd/cd player. The kitchen was kitted with all utensils you will need right down to cork screw. Beds were very comfortable and ours had a small ensuite which wuz great. The park itself is beautiful and well kept. There are 2 playground to cover all ages of children, a swimming pool with sauna, steam room etc. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and are a credit to the park. We ate many time up in the country club and the food is lovely and very well priced. I also enjoy ther over 21 library where you can have a beer n read a book or watch tv in peace in quiet when you get 5 mins to yourself.

The lakeside bistro was closed but went up to feed the ducks which are very like the staff... very friendly ..lol

Caernarfon is only 10mins away and we visited the castle and the town and both are highly recommended. We shopped in morrisions which again is only 10 mins away in caernarfon. The park has a shop but is run independently and was never open much ( this part could b improved)

Our kids done a few activites and the leisure guys do a great a job if they are a wee bit pricey ( £ 10.pp per child for the good ones and £ 5 per child for anything else)

All in all a fantastic holiday had by all I would highly recommend to all family and friends. I should also point out not easy pleases so that tells you how good it is. If you want the kid to have a good time while relaxing then this is the place.

If brynteg wished to make it even better I could suggest supplying guests with a small folder including shop opening times, confirming when is off peak and peak times for activities, further information on the likes of your golf course, what can be hired etc, and more in the way of musical entertainment as when we there sammi brooks was due to arrive on the sat but never turned up and no explanation offered and the alternative was poor ( no disrespect as im sure the guy was thrown in at the last minute )

Apart from that all was great and I will be back in a year or two.

Room Tip: I stayed in caravan 87 and it was a stones throw from playground, pool and all leisure facilities.

We just came back from a week at this site. The site was lovely and clean and the staff were all really lovely... Especially the reception staff and Chris the entertainment man who was fabulous with the kids. The food in the club house was great too. The only downside was the activities were for mostly 6 and over but it didn't spoil our fun. The pool is tropical - lovely and warm for the kids so we spent hours there.

The weather defeated us as most of the surrounding area concentrates on being outside though discovered the following;

things to do - go crab fishing in Caernarfon - good fun and the kids loved it. the castle was great too, kids enjoyed exploring
- Llandudno cable cars, expensive but worth every penny
- bowling in the park - an absolute bargain!

Things to avoid - The aquarium, cost 26 pound to get in and we were done in 25 mins so made the kids do it twice!
- Caernarfon shops - not exciting but ok for essential may be worth going tesco in Bangor

We arrived back from Brynteg this afternoon after a 4 night stay. There were 2 adults and 4 children aged 12,10,8 and 6.

We had an uneventful journey down to Brynteg the only thing I would say about the lanes down to the park are that they are very narrow and only really room for one car, which can become a little irritating as there seemed to be a constant stream of cars coming the other way. On arrival we were allowed to check in at 2.30 pm (1 hour 30 mins) early which we were pleased about. We found our lodge L193A and we were initially surprised about how small it looked from the outside but found it was plenty big enough on on the inside. There were towels for everyone and robes for the adults. The kids immediately wanted to go in the hot tub but the temperature was far to high and would have scalded them should they have gone in. It took 2 days to cool down. Someone came every morning to put fresh chemicals in the hot tub.

The oven was poor and took around an hour to heat up and whenever the toilet was flushed an awful noise shook the whole cabin for about 5 minutes and woke everyone up in the middle of the night!

We were pleased with the entertainment in the evenings, on the first night there was a magic show with a man pulling birds out of mid air it was facinating but became a bit irritating towards the end as he must have had about 15 birds on stage! Bingo and party dances were also on and a quiz. The service at the bar was quite slow, although the staff were lovely and the seating was minimal, probably enough for about 10 families.

The swimming pool was basic but clean, not too busy and had a baby pool (which was colder than the adult pool) and a sauna. Other facilities there were a shop which opened 4-8 pm (9am - 12pm in the school holidays) which sold newspapers magazines, souveneirs and basic food. There was also a gym and a small amusement arcade.

The weather severely let us down and it rained hard for most of the week. We managed to venture out into Caernafon town which was nice enough, we had tea the the Black Boy Inn near the castle and harbour. This is one of the oldest pubs in Wales. We also went to Llanfairpwyll...... you know the longest place name in Wales! This is only about 10 mins drive away and they have a huge shop there that sells gifts and souveneirs. We took the kids to the Fun Centre in Caernarfon an indoor play area, it was £5.95 each for the kids and £2.00 for the adults and we were limited to an hour, but at least it got us out of the rain!

Nearby supermarkets within a 10 - 15 minute drive are Tesco, Morrisons and Asda.

Tip: Unless you are a dare devil DO NOT turn right when driving out of Brynteg because it takes you up the mountain on a very narrow dirt track. The scenery is breathtaking but the drive is not for the faint hearted!

We have just returned today from a 3 night stay. Customer service excellent. Park beautifully presented. Unbelievably clean and tidy. Setting and presentation was excellent. All looks new. We have two young children though and a few arcade games wouldnt keep them entertained. Pool was nice but not tropically heated though..temperature for babies needs to be around 32 and local pools hit this..here it was 26. The drive to caernafon and llanberis was around 20 mins to each but again small and hard to find good not overpriced eateries. We loved the feel of the park and although we wouldnt stay again (its merely because we felt we struggled finding things to do and places to eat) ...we would however highly recommend ! We stayed in a 2012 and although smaller in size than havens competitive van it matched it for confy beds..coffee and tea..large tv and dvd...etc. Haven parks are much more up to date with childrens entertainment etc but lacks the park setting and feel of Brynteg.
