“Great place to visit. Could be improved though”
Reviewed 23 September 2013

Stayed in a lodge during the Summer for a week, the setting and central location were excellent for seeing the best part of North Wales.
The site is very good with excellent facilities especially for the kids. The pool was very cold considering it was not very big and the changing areas were in need of a facelift. The biggest complaint was the so called golf course... What a joke, a field with sticks in more like... Pity as with a little effort it could be a feature.
The site is crowded and cramped near the clubhouse area but more spacious at the top of the site.

All in all a very good place to stay.....

Room Tip: Plot 168 had good views

Hello and thank you for your comments, we are glad you found the park 'a very special place to stay' we appreciate your comments. For 2014 we have an all new changing room and showers, plus a spa, the addition of a sportsfield and although the golf course is small it is undergoing an upgrade for 2014. We hope that you feel you would like to join us again to see all the changes.

We spent a week in July at Brynteg and had a wonderful relaxing time. The weather was glorious. The park was very clean and well cared for. The pool was my haven from 9-10am every day with the adult swim. The teenagers were kept busy with so many activities, they were exhausted every night. The boys insisted on staying for the family day on the Saturday as they enjoyed themselves so much. We have forgotten some names, the woman who wrote the list of beaches and places to visit, apologies we cannot remember your name, Lucas, David, Rob and Helen. Their service and the rest of the teams was excellent. Well done, we will be back in 2014 - thank you.

We booked a last minute short break to Brynteg and we weren't disappointed. Having never stayed in static caravan before we were very impressed, it was spacious, clean and cosy with all the equipment we needed. The site is really nice with beautiful scenery and the facilities excellent. The only negative was that the bed was a bit uncomfortable as we could feel the springs but that wasn't a big deal. Unfortunately we had our break cut short as our 18 month old son became very ill after 2 days and we ended up spending the rest of the holiday in hospital with him! We had planned to try the Bistro but didn't get chance, however heard very good reports. We would like to return hopefully at some point in the future!

Really clean and well kept park with good facilities Our Beaumaris 3 was lovely. Really well equiped and nearly new. Plenty of storage space. The only drawback is that although it can sleep 6 there was a dining table for 4 only.

We have stayed here in our friends of the family's caravan. The site is lovely and well kept and has lots of onsite facilities. We enjoyed using the swimming pool and facilities and the staff there are really friendly.

Not much more to say about it other than it is a nice site and nice caravans.

Brynteg facilities, accomadation and park are all of a high standard. The food in the bistro is tasty, varied menu and reasonably priced.
I was disappointed with the sports booker, I booked activities for the children 2 weeks in advance & many of the activities at our preferred times were full. when on site at one of the activities there were 3 different families who turned up on spec. They were not owners but staying in owners caravans and had been advised by all the owners that there would probably be spaces even if showing full. They joined the activity & didn't have to pay.
The site is about 85% owners caravans & the remainder rentals. Not sure how valued the rental customers are. If your thinking of purchasing a caravan I would recommend this site.

The caravan we booked was the smallest and cheapest but although basic it was clean and had everything we needed. Only complaint was the mattress which was a tad uncomfortable.
Swimming pool great and we enjoyed booking the sports hall for our own games.
Pleasant walks from site and great bakery down the road.
