I drove from London to Wales with my wife, 3-yr old daughter and a childhood friend who was with his wife and 4-yr old son. It was my friends discovery and idea to visit this place and all of us had time of our life for 4 days. The holiday home has sufficient capacity, clean rooms and amenities. We stocked up on food and cooked ourselves with ample time to chat up, play badminton, bowling and go for siteseeing. The lake within the premises of the resort was amazing. Amazing option if anyone is looking for good quality time with friends/family with enough opportunity to explore Wales- Snowdonia National park and Snowdon train journey. Beautiful and rare sights. Amazing and memorable trip.

just back from 4 day mon-fri break. stayed in elidir caravan (no114) caravan was spotless and spacious and had c/h dvd and freeview and microwave. park was lovely with a lovely lake and woodland walksand picnic areas. the pool was warm and clean and the sauana and steam room were really good, . the bar drinks prices were very resoanable but thought the food was a bit expenisive, i wouldnt class it as a restuarant its a bar with a area with tables and where they have the entertainment on the food is basic pub food but not at pub prices there was a small part in there laid out with tables u could eat if u wanted that was nicer. also the poolsie bistro stated it served food till 5 pm we were informed they stop seving food at 4pm and u have to order it by 330 , last moan on brynteg website says there is crazy golf when i enquired at reception was told there was no crazy golf and had never been(when i said id seen it on there webpage looked at me like i was daft) . i enjoyed my stay and would return but of a wkend when theres entertainment on and when the pooside bistro opens tiill 7pm so could have dinner in there. its a nice scenic quiet park and very clean .

I booked a weekend break at Brynteg through Hoseasons for myself, partner and children (5 and 1). I paid £150 for a 3 night break in a Snowdon Caravan (no, 100). On arrival we quickly got our keys and made out way to the caravan. It was a 3 bedroom model with TV, DVD and freeview, central heating, bed linen made up on arrival, microwave etc. It didn't have patio furniture and really didn't have any outdoor space to itself as such, though we didn't really require it during our stay. The setting is woodland and well landscaped. The van was reasonably old but very well kept and to a good standard. There was nothing we didn't really have. We used one of the bedrooms to put up our daughter's travel cot. We had to put one bed on its end against the wall to make room etc. The site is well laid out and the vast majority of units are privately owned with a few lodges and caravans in their rental fleet. We were near to the play areas which were never very loud and indeed they lock them in the evening and they don't open until gone 9am! This was a minor downside. The facilities didn't get started until at least 9am and my children were up before 7am! My partner and son used the pool twice and this was very well laid out with lifeguard on duty etc. I took my daughter in for viewing. They describe the pool as tropically heated and I can report it was certainly tropical in there! Next to the pool there is a Costa coffee area and a small soft play area for juniors and toddlers. Further up the complex there is a climbing wall, trampolining area, 2 lane bowling alley, micro amusement area (pitched just right - not garish etc). They also have a small gym and a shop. Most of the activities can be booked via the swimming pool reception via a points system. My eldest child was too young for most of the activities but I would imagine eager older children could spend a fair amount on these activities. At the other end of the site is a beautiful lake, which I do feel they could be utilising to better effect. Currently there is a bistro here though we didn't eat there. I would say that a minor niggle regarding the Brynteg site as a whole is the lack of adequate signage on the whole site. Despite being given a map on arrival it was very difficult to get our bearings and we got quite lost trying to locate the lake! The surrounding area is beautiful and we had a trip into Caernarfon and across the Menai Bridge to Anglesey. We didn't use to the bar or evening entertainment so can't comment on that but would heartily recommend the site to anyone considering a visit.

We booked a last minute break at this park and rented a 4 bed caravan (Elidir) no.108 which was lovely. It was the first time we had stayed here, however the park had been recommended to us from family who had previously stayed here. Upon arrival, we were very impressed with the entrance to the park (first impressions etc!), which together with the setting, gave you a good feeling of what hopefully to expect. Being a last minute booking, we arrived late at the park, and reception had arranged for the keys to be handed to us by security which was great and so easy. The service from the security member of staff was excellent, in that he ensured that we located our caravan ok and that we could gain access. We were very pleased with the caravan which was in an ideal location / adjacent to the park area for our 5 year old which was great. The caravan was lovely, clean and very welcoming, with no pet or smoke smells. The facilities on site were excellent, the indoor pool was lovely and warm, and the staff we met were very helpful and courteous. Pity the break was only for a couple of days. We all thoroughly enjoyed the break and luckily the weather stayed nice. We will definitely return to the park.

As soon as we arrived at the so called luxury lodge we knew that we would be very dissapointed (net curtains at the door ) and we werent wrong , the lodge was very dated and not the lodges which feature on there website . The hot tub was placed in a very strange place, you had to go across the chippings to get in to it ( were we usually stay they are on the decking area just in front of the patio doors ) so that you can get in and out very easily . we also struggled with the lid it was very heavy and took three people to take it on and off , again we have never come across that before they are usually very easy to lift on and off .If you want 5star contemporary lodges then go else were we will

We stayed over the easter weekend, this was the third time we have stayed at the site and we were looking a possibly buying a static on site. As before the site is really clean and pretty, the caravan we stayed in was nice and ideal for a short break.
Overall we enjoyed our stay but the Pool was a waste of time as it was so cold the kids wouldn't stay in, this was a big disappointment, on our previous stays the pool was really warm and tropical but not anymore. We complained several times but no one seemed interested and we eventually gave up!!!!!
We are so sad to say that we would not return to site and have decided to look elsewhere to buy a caravan because of the pool issue, after all with the weather so unpredictable and having children you need the pool area to be at least warm so you have somewhere to go.

Having owned a static caravan on this park around ten years ago, we decided to return for a few days and stay in a Brynteg Lodge Plus with our elderly labrador, two nineteen year olds, my husband and Grandma and Grandad. We stayed in Lodge number 254 whid upon first arrival did not appear to be in the best position, but we were really pleased with it. Expecting it to be cold, we were so surprised upon arrival to find that the central heating was on full and we were hit by a blast of hot air (the gas and electricity was included in the price) we had a lounge, dining area, very well equipped kitchen and three bedrooms, the master having walk in wardrobe and en-suite. The facilities at the park were excellent and we did have the swimming pool and gym to ourselves mid-week, however when we left on the Satruday morning it was getting a lot busier, perhaps in peak season it would be too busy. The park is set in wonderful grounds, we loved our own hot tub and sat out under the stars every night, bathrobes and towels were provided, the food in the Bistro was lovely, overall we couldn't really fault anything and would love to return again. The staff too were all so really nice to us. We paid £346.00 for four nights for the six of us and dog. Be warned though you have to pay £20 deposit for towels and £20 deposit for anything else you need to hire.
