We recently stayed in The Farm Cottage at the Stables. A nice size cottage, living room/kitchen, double bed room and a twin room.

Great location for Snowdon and walking.

Mandy and her staff were excellent and made the stay enjoyable. We will definitely be returning!

We booked this last minute as we were camping and needed somewhere quick as the rain was very heavy and we decided to pack up quickly did not really do enough research on the place and for £70/night without b fast was very poor value for money. The lady who ran the place was really friendly and helpful but she had a big task on her hands. The rooms were tired and worn with a foisty smell and there was no hot water for shower, although we were given the option to use another room when we complained ! Will not be going back. Place was up for sale.

Room Tip: Ask for one with electric shower.

A perfect weekend break with family. We were welcomed by Mandy who made our stay just like home! We booked two rooms, as we had two young children. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Parking was accessible, peaceful and very quiet. The breakfast was 5 star quality! We will certainly be returning to the Stables very soon.

I always try and find an alternative to the Premier Inn/Travel Lodge option when staying away and the Stables fitted the bill 100%. Out of town, plenty of easily accessible parking, peaceful and quiet.

Mandy and her staff were friendly and welcoming; nothing was too much trouble and it's refreshing to find a team that have a genuine interest in their guests' wellbeing.

The room was spotlessly clean, the bed extremely comfortable and the continental breakfast delivered to the room each morning was first-class; fresh fruit, hot croissants, yoghurt, cereal. Excellent!

I first went to the Stables for a meal 18 yrs ago and by chance today saw that the restaurant had re-opened for carvery, we had a lovely meal with a large selection of veg to choose from - i was plesantly surprised to the refurbishment they had done in the bar, the whole seating area has been re-upholstered and i can not understand the previous comment of the seats being dirty. Tables and chairs in the restaurant has been replaced in character with the building. All I can say is fantastic place and food and good to see you back in the catering side of the buisness Mandy and Becky x

Me and the family went here for a Sunday which turned out to be a Carvery , which you don't see quite often anymore . The inside had so much charicter to the place , and the welcoming we got was lovely to which you don't get that often either . The food was lovely ,we had a 3course meal and payed for only 2course, because of the November special they had on which was a bonus for me because I was paying :) and the portions weren't small either !! Over all we loved it and we will be going back .. Me personally I love a Carvery were u can help your self, even better when it's proper home made good food .. And a warm welcoming .. Who ever has something bad to say about this place must be nip picking ! Because I can't find anything bad to say about it , We will also be booking our Christmas party here to .

The food here is beautiful, we were served welsh lamb and you could taste the quality. We all had large portions and there was a good choice of foods on the carvery. The service is informal and friendly and you are made to feel very much at home. We loved the character of the building and the surroundings are lovely. We will definitely be returning!! Not your usual cheap pub food that has been pre-made!! Great place!
