What a treat to have lunch today at N68. If you are looking for top quality restaurant food without restaurant prices then look no further. The menu is refreshingly original with flavour combinations to satisfy the most discerning palate. I sampled breast of duck with goosegog (gooseberries) and gem topped with pistachio granola. Heaven on a plate. My fellow diners had similar praises for the stone bass with samphire and brown shrimp and Cornish mackerel with strawberry, potato salad and cucumber. All expertly prepared, cooked and presented. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they made us feel so welcome and were pleased to offer advice on our menu selection. The dessert menu tempted, despite tightening waistbands, and once again we were spoiled with rose ganache and soft berries, home made mint icecream with the most delicate of rose flavoured jelly. A move to larger premises is definitely the way forward for this up and coming bistro and we will be back without doubt. Superb.
