“A Stunning Home in a Stunning Location”
Reviewed 8 May 2014 for a stay in April 2014

I stayed at Gadlas as part of a group of 10 Welsh learners, all there to live and breathe the language for a week. We had a fabulous time in this superb venue. Everything was clean, modern and comfortable. The kitchen diner was huge - enoigh for all of plus, plus guests, to sit down together to eat - and all of the appliances clean and working. The beds were really comfortable, And I have to amdit to being very fussy in that regard. All in all, a brilliant place to stay whilst exploring the local area and soaking in the culture, music and language of Pen Llyn. I cannot recommend Gadlas highly enough, simply a wonderful patt of a very special experience indeed!

“Perfect venue for a large gathering of family & friends”
Reviewed 22 July 2013 for a stay in July 2013

We rented Gadlas & Deri Llyn to gather to form a cottage that could accommodate 24 people in great comfort.

Our gathering of family & friends ranged in age from 10 to 80, and each and very member of our party absolutely loved staying in the cottages.

The conversion from a barn has been done to such a high standard, nothing has been done "on the cheap" or to a level that is "just good enough", its obvious that the owners have had every consideration for what people would want from a holiday rental.

The main purpose of the stay was for my wife and I to get married. We had considered nearby hotels as venue for the reception, but as soon as we saw the cottages, we knew it had to happen there. The inside & outside spaces are perfect for gatherings, with large rooms and even larger patio spaces. We even had a ceilidh band set up one one patio while we danced in the open air. We'd been very lucky with the weather, but had taken the precaution of erecting a marquee - plenty of space for that and so much more.

If you're looking for a venue where you can have anything from a quiet getaway with friends to a large family gathering, then we couldn't recommend Gadlas & Deri Llyn highly enough.

We can't wait to return!
