“Positively perfect in every way”
Reviewed 24 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

A beautiful traditional Welsh long cottage. The location is stunning with patios, picture windows in the lounge and a hot tub all looking over the Penninsula. The beach is a ten minute amble down a lane and you can also catch a train there with access to various local villages and attractions. Lovely warm welcome by the owners and the cottage is equipped with all you could need and more. Already hoping to book again. Perfect.

“Wonderful cottage and location”
Reviewed 2 May 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Family of 8 arrived and were welcomed by Steve, we were shown around and could see straight away we were going to settle in no problem, the cottage is very well equipped, the gardens and location are just perfect, the added bonus was the Hot tub over looking the sea, would definitely book up again, thank you Barrie and Joan. (PS. the flowers on the dinning room table were very much appreciated)

“Fabulous cottage in a lovely part of Wales”
Reviewed 17 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

We stayed here for 5 nights in April 2017. What a great find!

There were 8 of us (4 adults and 4 kids aged 6 and under). Cottage is worth its five stars, plenty of space, got everything you could possibly need and is in really perfect condition.

Hot tub was great, used it every night!

Great location. Remote enough to feel away from it all, but also not that far from everything you need. Beautiful part of Wales too, lovely walks and amazing beaches.

Will definitely go back.

“Luxurious stay on the Lleyn”
Reviewed 15 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Our 2 families stayed at Gorwel last week. It is an amazing holiday let - the best I have ever stayed in! It is very clean, extremely well equipped and has every mod con you can think of! The view is beautiful, gardens lovely and if felt like home from home. We used the hot tub a great deal - the teenagers especially loved it! The cottage is very spacious and we had a truely relaxing holiday.
The lleyn is a wonderful part of the world with many beautiful beaches and the cottage is convenient for visiting everywhere- Nefyn, Morfa, whistling sands, abersoch, criccieth and we even went to pwhelli by train from aberech.
A great holiday and very sad to be home

“A treat with a great view”
Reviewed 31 March 2017 for a stay in March 2017

The cottage was a real treat for me and my chums. The hot tub was an obvious attraction but still surpassed our already high expectations! Our first thoughts when arriving at Gorwel were "wow, what a fantastic view". The sea and fields with charming sheep within a few minutes walk were a pleasure to behold and experience. It was a great base camp for us as we prepared to ascend the beautiful Mt. Snwdn. A perfectly well kitted-out kitchen and comfortable beds put us in the best possible condition for the arduous task ahead! To top it all off, Barrie was an extremely warm host and it was a pleasure to be welcomed into Gorwel by him. I would recommend it to absolutely anyone.

Kindest regards,

“Home from home”
Reviewed 8 November 2016 for a stay in October 2016

Following a lovely welcome we set to filling the wine fridge with supplies and arranging our bar for the weekend!! Well what can you expect when the girls go away together?
This property is a delight. It has everything you require and more. The beds and bedding are very comfortable and sufficient towels provided, the lounge has the most amazing view and we loved settling down to the log fire every evening. It was so lovely just to be told to help yourself to more logs.
The outdoor space is a real added bonus with the hot tub and outhouse. There is even a fridge in the outhouse so that you can chill your bubbles near the hot tub. The only downside is that there is quite a bit of traffic noise during the daytime but it is not noticeable indoors.
You can access the beach within a 10/15 minute walk or a couple of minutes in the car and the train station is within walking distance. As this was a girly weekend we didn't explore the area extensively but there is so much on offer. We have booked again and cant wait to be back. Barrie the owner is most welcoming and helpful without being interfering. Many thanks
