“Characterful cottage provides memorable family stay.”

Four generations of our family - including a 92 year old - had a wonderful family get-together in this lovely setting on the Llyn Peninsula. The cottage itself had everything we required, including effective heating, a welcoming wood-burning fire, comfortable furnishings and plenty of appliances. The gardens are lovely and the whole of Glasfryn estate is almost picture-perfect. Other family members stayed in Rose Cottage and the Coach House nearby and everyone had a great time. A pity about the weather, which was quite wet, but our host, Helen, even kindly lent us two pairs of wellingtons so we could skip through the puddles!

“Lovely cosy cottage - wonderful secluded location, very comfortable.”
Reviewed 23 March 2015 for a stay in March 2015

This is a lovely cosy cottage, set within beautiful woodland, yet only a few minutes from lovely sandy beaches. Has everything supplied for a comfortable stay, inlcuding logs for the woodburner, which was very welcome. We stayed for the week and were joined by friends and family for part of the time - there is ample room for 6 people. Can't wait to stay again and see the fabulous garden in all it's glory in the summer! Will definately be back. Thank you for letting us stay, we really enjoyed it.

“Lovely secluded cottage in a beautiful part of Wales”
Reviewed 16 January 2015 for a stay in December 2014

We stayed at garden cottage for New Years week and had the most relaxing break we have had for a while. We were staying with our two young children who enjoyed sharing the cute twin bedroom upstairs which overlooked the woods. My sister and her young family came to join us for two nights and we weren't too squashed in as they had the downstairs bedroom made up as a king-size and there was a separate bathroom adjacent to them also.
The gardens are absolutely fabulous, really big and spacious. My kids enjoyed playing with their balls and playing hide and seek many times.
The cottage itself is so cosy and comfortable. We were provided with an abundance of logs for the fire which was lovely as it was so cold. We were also provided with a decorated spruce Christmas tree which was very festive and a nice touch.
The kitchen was well appointed and the modern bathroom was great with a hot shower. Ideal after a days exploring the many beautiful beaches in the area.
Glasfryn parc was brilliant for the children. We went on a VERY rainy day and had a game of bowling which was fun. We also had a go of the go-karts which were fantastic and extremely fast !!
All in all a fabulous holiday, we would definitely return one day.

“perfect”
Reviewed 6 December 2014 for a stay in November 2014

proper old cottage with wood-burner and central heating so very warm, situated in private grounds feels wonderfully secluded surrounded by woods and pheasants, however owners home only 5 minuets down the road if you need anything.
Nearest town of pwellheli only about 4-5 miles away where there is an ASDA supermarket and a little train station.

I totally fell in love with this beautiful cottage and now dream of living there, long walks, secluded surroundings, yet near to a lovely little seaside town, perfect.

“Beautiful setting, a haven in the woods.”
Reviewed 17 November 2014 for a stay in October 2014

Wonderful picture box cottage, set in a woodland which is frequented by pheasant and rabbit. Gorgeous wood burner which meant we didn't venture far when the fire was lit. Beds were comfy as was the lovely deep leather sofa. Being there in October meant the colors on the trees and surrounding mountains was stunning. Easy short distance from Snowdonia and the sea. Def visit again.
