We stayed here for 3 nights recently (2 couples, 2 rooms) and we couldn't have wished for a better place, it was absolutely immaculate, the family owners were so helpful and nothing was ever to much trouble. They also do evening meals here which are of an excellent quality, along with stunning breakfasts and during the day, cakes etc are available in the reception, restaurant area.
The lodge was well situated for the exploring that we wanted to do, easy drive to Harlech, Porthmadog, Portmerion and various steam train trips.
Would highly recommend.

We stayed last August Bank Holiday and were so impressed that we returne again, actually had the same room which was lovely. The location id great for walking around the estuary, Port Meirion and Portmadog to name but a few places. Food morning and evevning is beautiful and we loved the sound of the ducks paddling behind the building. A Lovely escape from the city. Local Pub down the road very friendly.

Room Tip: they are all lovely

I had read reviews on this place before booking and all I can say is they are all correct, no one in this world could give this place any type of bad review.

You go as a customer and leave as part of the family, the food is excellent, the beds are comfy, the rooms are to the highest standard, not a spot of dust anywhere and the family dog is just a love.

We stayed for 2 nights, 21st and 22nd of May 2014 in room 3, this has a big double bed and in built bunk beds in the wall ( see pics I have posted ) The room was brilliant, my little boy loved the top bunk.

It Is 12 miles from Porthmadog and 20 miles from Barmouth. There is a little pub down the road but we didn't go as the bar on sight was good enough. The food was great with a personal touch from all the family on site serving you and looking after every need.

I would recommend this place to anyone with my hand on my heart to say you will have a great time if all you want to do is chill, eat, drink and enjoy watching the world pass you by then this is the place.

Room Tip: I would imagine that all the room are very good but if you speak to Daniel he would be happy to help...

We stayed here for 3 nights 19th-21st May 2014. Read all the great reviews before deciding on Estuary Lodge and were NOT disappointed! On arrival we were greeted as if we were old friends, nothing was too much trouble and everyone was so friendly.

The room was spotless and spacious, we had a king size room which had walk in shower, Tassimo coffee machine, kettle, microwave AND fridge freezer with fresh milk! We also had seating out the front and decking with more seating out the back - what more could you want?!

The food is excellent all home cooked and the breakfasts well put it this way do not miss them! All types of fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt then a delicious cooked breakfast where you can have just about anything you can think of!

The family that run it are great and very knowledgeable about the area even the dog is kind and friendly!

I really cannot rate this hotel enough - (for those of you who have seen it) if I was a judge on Four in a Bed this would deserve an over payment! Do not hesitate to book this you will not be disappointed!

Thanks to all who made our stay so great! Look forward to returning :-)

Room Tip: We had room 8 which is furthest from reception and has a lovely walk in shower and is furthest from...

Stayed three nights half board while walking in the area. The whole motel has been designed and is run from a customer's perspective - spacious, clean, well equipped, comfortable, excellent food, friendly (family) staff, outstanding value and nothing too much trouble. It certainly lives up to its brilliant Trip Advisor reports. Probably the best place we have stayed at for many a year - just hope it isn't fully booked for our next visit

Room Tip: Room 2 has a (short) bath which is a welcomed benefit after a hard day's walking in what can be...

This is the standard for other B&B's to live up to!
The room was warm, comfortable and spacious and provided everything that the traveller could possibly want. The standard of cleanliness was excellent throughout. The design of the room excellent, from the storage and desk units to the king-size bed. A microwave cooker and fridge were built in. The loo and shower room were separate from the twin-basin wash room. Tea-making facilities and even fresh milk were provided. Bath robes were available.
Breakfast was generous in the extreme, from the wide range of cereals, fruit juices and fresh fruit and berries to the many options of cooked food, all well prepared and served by friendly members of the family.
