We stayed at this delightful little B and B for 2 nights at the weekend and it's a great place. Anne and Bob do all they can to make your stay a pleasant and comfortable one. The balcony room is a bright and pretty room and the scenery and gardens are lovely and relaxing. Bob' breakfasts are to be recommended. We will definitely be returning in the not too distant future. If you love the personal touch of a smaller place and the feeling that nothing's too much trouble then it's a must to try. Thanks Anne and Bob.

I found Estuary Cottage on the net while searching for somewhere to stay for the celebration of a friend's birthday. Set in a lovely garden, It came as a surprise to learn that it had once been a shack in a railway yard! The little one track railway runs between the venue and the estuary opposite Portmeirion and the two-coach trains run quietly and during the day only.

The room is small but contains everything we needed and it had its own entrance off the deck. Quiet and private, it is about a 5 minute walk from the excellent local pub so no need to use the car.

Our hostess, Anne, couldn't have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and we had a bit of a battle to persuade her that we didn't want the full breakfast she was so keen to provide!
Very good atmosphere and highly recommended!

Thankyou for your wonderful hospitality, you
Made us feel so welcome even though we were a last minute booking. the beautiful gardens and scenery made it a really special place to stay. The garden room was very comfortable and well equipped and the breakfast was delicious. Would love to stay again next time we are in the area, the only problem was that it was quite difficult to get back from Harlech late in the evening but this was due to the bank holiday trains not running and taxi difficulties. Thankyou!!

Our 3 night stay was THE most relaxing break we've had. Ann and Bob's b&b is a little haven of homeliness. Superb hearty breakfasts, stunning views across the estuary to Portmeirion, private patios, fabulous picturesque but extremely child friendly gardens (the photos just don't do it justice), fresh eggs from their chickens, comfy beds, en suite showers and a national train service that stops on the door step .... What more could you want! Ann and Bob are the epitome of helpfulness, absolutely nothing is too much trouble for them. We thoroughly recommend staying with Ann and Bob and we will definitely be returning in the future .with the grandkids
