Very good meal - service could have been quicker, but we were informed on arrival that they were understaffed, so I am happy to forgive them that. The food was excellent, and I would recommend the Welsh beef burger, yummy and super value for money.

Visted with my partner and three boys (12, 10 and 8).

We arrived without a reservation and were cheerfully greeted and sat at around 5.45. It got busier around 6.30 and might be worth booking if you were looking to eat after that.

The restaurant has a good menu with a range of starters and mains, with some interesting specials too. We had a couple of childrens meals (all eaten and no complaints!) and burgers which were excellent and very reasonably priced. Tasty deserts too.

Highly recommended.

The village pub has recently had a refurbishment of the restaurant which adds a completely new dimension to the pub. Staff are friendly and efficient and the food and choices good.
