3rd time at Lastra and we look forward to returning many more times. The room was spotless and tastefully decorated. Elaine and the team did a wonderful job of ensuring we had a great time and everyone was so friendly throughout the 3 days. The standard of evening meals was superb and breakfast was as good as I've ever tasted both in presentation and options available. As for the location of Lastra, there is some of the best coastal walking in the UK just a short drive away.
Congratulations to all the staff for a great job well done.

Room Tip: Stayed in rooms 1 & 3 previously and both were of the highest standard. Beds have been large and...

We stayed in room 9 in the Gate House, excellent accommodation, everything to hand, even a small fridge with fresh milk. The rooms were warm and very comfortable, everything was spotless and we are very fussy. We had breakfast on three mornings and two evening meals during our stay and the food was excellent, we enjoyed every meal. Thank you to Sue, always ready to help with a smile and to Elaine and Adrian, (the owners) for making us so welcome and ensuring that we had a lovely winter break. We hope to return to Lastra in the Spring.

A group of colleagues stayed here recently on business, the hosts were completely accommodating and the rooms were very comfortable. We had an excellent meal in the restaurant for dinner and they didn't mind at all when we took over a corner of the lovely conservatory room for a long lunch and good wi-fi access in between meetings. When booking we were surprised to hear we'd taken the last available rooms on a mid week in off-peak, but once we'd stayed we understood why it is so popular.!

We've just returned from a lovely two nights in the Gatehouse, room 9. The weather was stormy but we were very cosy! The room was a good size, with a sitting area which was very handy for our dog! Breakfast was very tasty, and our dog was especially pleased with the sausages that we were given to take back for him! We ate here one night, and couldn't fault the food or service. Very glad we found Lastra, and I'm sure we'll be back.

Room Tip: Room 9 in the gatehouse was spacious and cosy.

My husband and I stayed for one night at Lastra Farm in the Gatehouse (Room 9). We had our 2 dogs with us and are always grateful to find somewhere happy to accommodate our mutts. We could not have been made more welcome. The Gatehouse was lovely and as there was no-one staying in either of the other rooms there we also had exclusive use of the nice little garden. The dogs loved it and there was a great touch of dog bowls and treats for them.

Breakfast on Monday was delightful and we were presented with some sausages to take back for the dogs as well.

The only thing that could have made the trip better would have been eating in the restaurant on Sunday night - the food sounded wonderful. It doesn't open on a Sunday so we popped into Amlwch and had a very nice curry.

Room Tip: Room 10 was so peaceful we slept like logs

Nice relaxing visit to Lastra over a stormy week end. Stayed in Room 9 in the Gatehouse which was just right. Small lounge area and comfortable double bed with useful small fridge. Good power shower in spotless bathroom. Walked to main hotel in rain with provided for umbrella and torch (it's the little things that make the difference). Excellent dinner, good portions and good Chenin Blanc from small but nicely balanced wine list. Great breakfast in the morning. Really couldn't fault it, well recommended.
