Cannot fault this hotel and it's restaurant at all. Lovely staff , accommodation and food .
The cooked breakfast is the best I've had in any hotel and the evening meal was gorgeous.
Will definitely be returning .

We have stayed here on 2 previous occasions and were not disappointed on our return 27/07/14.We were given a warm welcome on arrival having phoned earlier in the day to book a table for the recently started Sunday evening service. The meal was excellent and the hotel happily accommodated our dinner party of 8.
The lodge where we stayed is a short walk from the main hotel, take a torch in the evenings as it is a country lane! Having said that it's worth staying in the lodge as there are only 3 rooms of a high standard.
Food is all locally sourced and cooked to a high standard served by friendly staff.Elaine and Adrian deliver a very high standard.

Room Tip: If you want privacy opt for the lodge although the rooms are a bit smaller

We stayed at Lastra Farm for the weekend of 11/12/13 July 2014. The rooms had all been refurbished and looked very welcoming and 'fresh'. I would especially like to mention the food: it was fantastic!

We booked this hotel from the internet for the purpose of birdwatching break in North Wales. A friendly reception on arrival at this charming hotel. The room was tastefully decorated and we had armchairs in front of the TV. The bathroom was clean and the bath was lovely and deep, so I had lots of baths! Hot water was abundant too. A nice touch was a small fridge in the hall containing milk and lovely cold bottled water. We stayed for our evening meal both nights as the food was delicious, afterwards we sat in the gardens in the sunshine, birdwatching. The breakfast had everything you could want and the service was quick. We will be going back there again.

This was a fabulous place to stay. We stayed in the gatehouse, the bedroom & bathroom was modern & spacious. The staff were extra friendly (especially Sue). The breakfast & dinners were really scrumptious. I was doing ancestor research & the staff were real helpful. Would definitely recommend this place

I stayed for the first time recently, on a golf trip with 5 others - some of whom had stayed before. We could not have been made more welcome by the staff and owners. The rooms were excellent, but the highlight has to be the food. The breakfast has the usual buffet layout of cereals, juices etc, but the cooked breakfast is wonderful. As for the evening meals; the menu is plentiful and varied, with excellent specials. We shared the steak special on the first night - £39 for two including a bottle of house wine. On the second night I had the Anglesey platter - a magnificent seafood salad including half a lobster, a full crab, prawns and salad - magnificent. Two nights dinner, bed and breakfast, including our drinks (rather a lot!) came to just over £200 a head which was unbelievable value for money for such a great hotel. I cannot recommend it too highly.

Room Tip: I shared the family room with one other. The layout is excellent with a double room and a twin bedd...

We stayed for 3 nights and had no complaints. The rooms have everything you could want, the in house restaurant provides excellent evening meals biased toward locally sourced ingredients, there's a large conservatory where the generous breakfast is served, and a cosy bar for evening tipples. It's based in a rural location and the owners and staff couldn't be friendlier. Highly recommended as a place to base yourself to unwind and chill out.
