We went to Anglesey as a last minute thing and we love Beaumaris so we hoped there would be a room available at the Liverpool Arms. At £60.00 for Bed and Beakfast we thought this was good value. The room was big but warm and cosy. The food for the evening meal was hot and tasty and good value. Good choice of wines and reasonably priced. The staff were lovely, so friendly, having a laugh and joke with us. We slept well in a great big bed. The breakfast was really something, there was so much choice with locally sourced and supplied food, it was hot and absolutely delicious!
It needs a bit of upgrading in the bathroom but that's my only criticism.

Room Tip: In the summer months a room at the front would have traffic noise.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch here today (29/1/12). I was there with two friends and we opted for the carvery. A choice of two meats and lots of veg. All hot and fresh.
Our table was in the window behind a screen. I was shocked to see how busy the bar was when I went to pay. The atmosphere was great, a good feeling on a wet and windy day.

Although never having stayed here, we have eaten here many times and always had an enjoyable evening. Food is very good (Chef's steak pie when available is superb) as is the service. Good selection of ales and wine and a pleasant atmosphere. Reasonably priced.

We ended up eating in Liverpool Arms twice during our week stay in Beaumaris. The "Macho Lamb" is great! We liked the atmosphere and the staff. There are probably better restaurants in Beaumaris, but we did not want spend all of our money on dining out...Liverpool Arms is not cheap, but it is neither the most expensive place in town. It is an easy going and relaxed place in the heart of the town.

This is a pub with rooms not really a hotel. Our room was quirky with sloping floors, it was full of character, spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly, relaxed and very busy in the bar. We spent a good bit of time in the bar because this weather was bad, but during breakfast x2, one evening meal, some evening drinks plus a coffee whilst waiting for our taxi to the station an elton john cd was playing, it got on your nerves after a while playing over and over again....!! The breakfast was brilliant, the food was good pub food and the beer was lovely (except the music)! I have mixed feelings about this place but I would definitely stay again.

We stayed at the Liverpool arms last weekend. We had a great time. The staff were very polite and the room was clean and good value for money. We asked if wee could eat in the bar on the evening and a table had been reserved. The food was great value for money. Try the shoulder of Lamb or the mixed grille. The breakfast was also great, fresh orange, cereals, full fry up with coffee and toast. After that you can go all day. Will go back for sure.

My partner and I stayed here in June 2011 and had a great time, so much so that we came back this October for 2 nights and once again had a fantastic break. the position of the htel is wonderful for traveling around the island and for walks alongside the water along with immediate access to the town shops. The staff were very welcoming and polite, the atmousphere was comfortable and warm and the room and entire building oozed character that most other hotels lack! The food was great value for money, very tasty and the portion sizes meant we were certainly never hungry. They even did a super job of working with myself and my fussiness over fried eggs. We really did enjoy ourselves and are hoping to book to go back in December and many more times in the future.

Room Tip: Room 3 is very nice indeed.
