We stayed here for one night only but I have to say I was glad I did. When we arrived one of the letters was falling of the hotel (not a good sign in my opinion, it dictates shabby). We had to wait a while to check in too as no one noticed us standing at the bar reception (could do with a bell). The room was ok but not that good for the price. It could do with a revamp as it was very tired and looked much better on the photograph than what it appeared. My pillow smelt of perfume and it wasn't mine and we could hear some sort of generator through most of the night. Breakfast was ok. The pub seemed to sell large value for money meals but the smell of greasy oil put us off. It sells pub grub and if you like that sort of thing that is fine. We wanted somewhere with a nice atmosphere, more romantic so we wandered up the road near the pier.
