Quaint small tea room. Friendly staff and had lovely hot chocolate and scone.

Attentive and overall good. Toilets at the back.

Worth a trip for tea and cake

Excellent selection of tea's and pastries! Outstanding service.
Small intimate cafe with a lot of memorabilia.

Small but very quaint place with lovely old fashioned decor. Beautiful crockery, love the cute teapots that the tea was served. Good service as always, with a delicious selection of cakes, can highly recommend their scones! Well worth a visit!

Came for lunch following the good reviews on here, but am really disappointed!

We ordered a cheddar cheese sandwich and two cheese toasties. I don't mind paying around £6 for a nice sandwich or toastie but I'd like some good cheese and nice bread for the price. Sadly what arrived was soggy, with rubbery and flavourless cheese, and tasteless bread. The menu said it was served with crisps (I counted four, yes... FOUR crisps) and a salad garnish (some wilted iceberg lettuce and cucumber, a little red onion, a cherry tomato, and browning tinned sweetcorn). Really disappointing.

My partner then ordered a slice of Victoria sponge cake, which was certainly very competent but not exceptional. The price of £3something for a slice of cake was probably about right for Beaumaris.

On the positive side - it's small, quirky, and full of character. There was a constant queue out the door so it's clearly popular. Perhaps our sandwiches are not typical and we were just unlucky?

In summary - Probably a good place to stop for tea and cake, but if our experience is anything to go by then I'd give it a miss for lunch.

Repeat visit to this delightful little tea room. Great selection of teas for those that enjoy and extensive menu. Today sampled the lime and coconut cake, very light and delightful. Great little place for snack or meal depending on time of day. Enjoyed
