walking through pub entrance really doesn't allow you to imagine whats inside this olde worldy pub/restaurant and a hotel..Room was superb, lovely bathroom...thoroughly enjoyed our stay ate dinner and breakfast were well served and tasted gooooooooddddd!
I would recommend to anyone...car parking round back is tight, better for small cars....great spot, especially if the weather is nice.....although pack an umbrella just in case , it is North Wales after all......Puffin Island boat trip highly recommended....

Great stay - food excellent - we tried both the Brasserie and the Loft Restaurant and would recommend both. Our room was lovely, very clean and spacious, we stayed in the Townhouse. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. No complaints at all except the weather could have been kinder!!

If you do enough business travel - I do - you rapidly appreciate the difference between 'ok' and 'I'll be back'. The Bulls Head sits clearly in the latter camp. The investment that has clearly been made results in a modern boutique-style accommodation that is far removed from the chain hotel feel. Spacious rooms, an individual feel, a good level of sophistication and amenity, and yet a comfortable feel about the bar and bistro service. Our food was varied and well presented on the two nights we ate in the bistro restaurant - I can recommend the pork belly - and the service we received from Gemma, our waitress on both evenings was the inspiration behind the title of my review. The last time I felt this welcome in a restaurant was in the Far East. Thank you, Gemma for making a business trip all the more enjoyable.

Awful place and will never visit again. Met with the unfriendly welcome of "dogs allowed but babies need to go out the back". Back room smelt very strongly of the men's toilets which were next door. Pints served were off and we had to ask for them to be changed. All in all one of the worst we visited in Wales.

We stayed for 1 night and had a very pleasant stay. The room was clean and well appointed but unusual with beams, the en-suite was was spotless. We enjoyed the real ales and brasserie for dinner and had a delicious breakfast. All of the staff were friendly and we would stay there again.

Just popped into ye olde bulls head today for a spot of lunch in the Brasserie. Service was excellent and food was tremendous. I had crispy chicken thighs followed by baked hake and my wife had meatballs Brasserie atmosphere was good and nice place inside. Been to the hotel before but this was first in brasserie and I will definite be returning. Good food and wine selection with locally sourced products cooked to perfection.

I have been to the Bulls Head a number of times before to eat in the Brasserie and always enjoyed the experience. This time I just wanted to go in the bar for a drink. Initially was made very welcome even with a dog in tow, before they realised that we had a teenager with us and was told that we had to sit in a less than welcoming side room. "It's the rules" was the comment from one of the other customers. Nice enough beer, but no choice and as a result of treatment, will not be going back.
