Very nice typical pub! Great beer, great service and very friendly
We ate here one night during our three day stay and the food was really nice with generous portions and quick service.
The beer is kept very well with a good choice of ales, ciders and lagers. Popular place with locals and visitors alike so you may have to wait if you go after 7:30pm; worth it though

Very friendly and a good range of dishes. You do need to book for a popular weekend and I'm glad I did. Get there early for the specials.

Back when I was a student at Bangor Uni, the Liverpool Arms had a reputation as doing great food. So it felt right to visit for a sunday lunch as part of my visit to celebrate my 25th anniversary of having graduated.

Time has passed on and I feel that the Liverpool arms has missed the boat and is still stuck a few decades in the past.

Had the Sunday Roast and it was ok and good value for money. Yes it was cheap and cheerful but the service was good, and the staff nice and cheerful.

my advice it to see if you can book in advance as there were many tables with 'reserved' labels on them.

We've been here for a Sunday Carvery on numerous occasions, never had to book & have always been empty tables, however, once again we decided to go for our lunch today, on arrival, yes it was fairly busy & a few tables had RESERVED sings on the tables but we did manage to find 2 tables with no RESERVED signs on them so we took one of these tables. Before we even had the chance to sit down a member of staff rushed over & told us the table was Reserved & then proceeded to place the sign on the table & said there was no room. If this was the case, the sign should have been put on the table way before people started to come in. We've always enjoyed our lunches here but after the bad way they dealt with this we will definately NOT be returning!!!! This is NO WAY 2 treat customers, if tables have been reserved then it should state so clearly as soon as theyre booked & NOT when other customers are just about to sit down.
