Decided to try this restaurant on our visit to Beaumaris and glad we did. Serves lunches until 3 and opens again in the evening at 5.15. I had a small portion of mussels which was huge, followed by a sea food pizza. My friend had a pepperoni one. Both were freshly made and delicious.
Staff courteous, pleasant and helpful. There is also a coffee shop underneath the restaurant which looked very nice.

“Poor public relations”
Reviewed 26 August 2014

Waited an hour for platter of anti pasti. Drinks order confused. Starter and two main courses arrived together for two diners. My wife had nearly finished her main course by the time I had finished my starter. Ordered two limoncello mousses. Waited 20 minutes to be told none available. Ordered a coffee and panacotta. Coffee arrived but 15 minutes later still waiting for panacotta so cancelled dessert and asked for bill. When paying complained about the shambles only to be told that they had only been open 3 weeks! Suggested that modicum go public relations would romps deduction of coffee. It was a no no. Boss not available so wrote formal letter of complaint. 3 weeks later no response. They must realise that come the thinner winter months they depend on local repeat business. We shall not return.

“If only it did what it said on the tin.”
Reviewed 24 August 2014

We visited on 22/8/14 - a fairly busy Friday night, and as it's newly opened a certain amount of disorder and milling about is to be expected, especially as the difficult layout of the building makes things harder for the young waiting staff.

However, though the service was patchy the real disappointment was the food. Not that it was bad, as such, it was just bland and none of the dishes quite lived up to the descriptions on the menu. "Pollo Rustico", for instance, is billed as "a hunter's style pot chicken flavoured with garlic, white wine, marjoram, rosemary, olives and pine nuts in a sweet plum tomato sauce". I was hoping for some strong flavours there, but though the chicken was beautifully tender and the sauce was pleasant enough, it just tasted faintly of onion and tomato. "Limoncello Mousse" turned out to be plain lemon mousse which if it did contain Limoncello, it was not enough to be detectable. It was the same story for every dish we tried - exciting on the menu, great presentation, but actually eating it was a bit disappointing.

It's early days yet for Tredici, so hopefully they will find their feet - if the kitchen can deliver what's promised in the menu it would be a real asset for Biwmares.

“Great fresh feel”
Reviewed 21 August 2014

Well done ! Classic food in a cosy environment . Booked two days in advance pre exam results. Mixed fish starter as a two to share very filling. Pizza flavoursome /fresh, seafood pasta fantastic and filling, chicken with olive, truffle oil mushroom sauce was sublime. As if that wasn't enough! A homemade chocolate brownie with ice cream was cramed in the celebration feast!!! Worth visiting, worth every penny...only gripe= needs Italian music not late 70's in the background.

“Great venue, good food and good value - an asset to Beaumaris”
Reviewed 21 August 2014

We went as a family of four for a lunch time visit here, it was thier first lunch time opening and as expected they were getting used to things. The service was a little disjointed and we did wait some time for our order but I cant fault the food which was well presented, fresh and exactly what we expected.
The venue is great, its worth a visit and we will be going again.
Would also be a great venue for a large group get together.
