My Fiancee and I recently stayed at Woodlands for 2 nights for a weekend away from the chaos of London life. We booked due to seeing the excellent recent reviews and we were not disappointed.

It is easy to find and has plenty of off road parking, the view to the sea as soon as you step out of your car is instantly relaxing. We receved a very warm welcome and were shown to our lovely bright room (with the same seaview). It was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and we both had excellent nights sleep.

The breakfasts in a sunny conservatory were very good with lots of choice including cereals, toast, croissants, fruit salads, cooked breakfasts. As a vegetarian I was well catered for. We also made use of the honesty bar which was great!

We had a pleasent walk into the town and to Red Wharf Bay and a lovely meal at the Ship Inn nearby. There are a couple of excellent coastal walk books and maps available in the breakfast room and we made good use of these.

It was our first trip to beautiful Anglesey but we will definitely be returning, no doubt to stay at the Woodlands again. Highly recommended!

The friendly owner was very hospitable - offering helpful advice about the area. The room was comfortable and despite being near the road was incredibly quiet through the night. The breakfast was good and there was plenty of it! The location makes it an ideal base for travelling and sight seeing.

An excellent location for a walk into to Benllech town and the bay or a driving tour of the island.
Our room was fresh, nicely furnished, spacious enough for a short break and, of course, meticulously clean.
Although close to the A-road, traffic noise was not noticeable and the off-road parking is a bonus.
We were made to feel very welcome on arrival and throughout our stay. After a good night's sleep and a hearty breakfast in the conservatory we enjoyed our days on Anglesey.
We are already looking forward to returning.

Stayed there for one night April 2011 and really enjoyed our stay. Our bedroom was modern, spotless and recently decorated. Really nice and we were really impressed with everything. Really friendly and welcoming and never overbearing

The beach and village are about 15 mins away which was fine.

Breakfast was whatever you wanted and there was plenty of choice and options. Not a single complaint about anything.

We would def go back and stay there!!!!

We have recently returned from our stay at Woodlands, and not being one to normally write reviews, felt compelled to after such a great stay. It was my first experience of staying in a B&B and can now definately say that this will not be my last by any means. We were made to feel very welcome when we arrived and more than happy with our bedroom which not only had lovely views but had been newly decorated to a high standard, really liked the extra added touch of the toiletries too!
Breakfast was always freshly prepared consisiting of either a full english or continental and thoroughly enjoyed in the conservatory with views of the garden.

Location was perfect, not only a short walk to Benllech beach but also the beautiful Red Wharf Bay. The location meant that we were able to explore the beautiful Anglesey coast line in both directions.

Anglesey is a great place to visit and even more so Woodlands....will definately be returning.

We stayed at woodlands over Easter with a group of friends.
The B&B is located on the edge of the village in easy walking distance from the shops, pubs and restaurants. The owners Sam and Michael were very friendly and could do enough for us.

We went on motor bikes and we were all made very welcome.

The rooms were well decorated and spotlessly clean the whole time we were there. The on suit bathrooms were modern and very clean.

Sam and Michael were fantastic hosts. The breakfasts were great and they catered for very need.

There is nothing bad I can say about this B&B. The rooms, location and hosts were fantastic. We will be defiantly going again.
