My Fiancee and I recently stayed at Woodlands for 2 nights for a weekend away from the chaos of London life. We booked due to seeing the excellent recent reviews and we were not disappointed.
It is easy to find and has plenty of off road parking, the view to the sea as soon as you step out of your car is instantly relaxing. We receved a very warm welcome and were shown to our lovely bright room (with the same seaview). It was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and we both had excellent nights sleep.
The breakfasts in a sunny conservatory were very good with lots of choice including cereals, toast, croissants, fruit salads, cooked breakfasts. As a vegetarian I was well catered for. We also made use of the honesty bar which was great!
We had a pleasent walk into the town and to Red Wharf Bay and a lovely meal at the Ship Inn nearby. There are a couple of excellent coastal walk books and maps available in the breakfast room and we made good use of these.
It was our first trip to beautiful Anglesey but we will definitely be returning, no doubt to stay at the Woodlands again. Highly recommended!
