We visited Benllech Beach again this year during our stay near Caernarfon. We had two of our grandchildren with us and they insisted on going to Benllech beach as we have had such wonderful times there over the years. The beach is well kept and a man is always picking up debris and any litter that has been dropped by us tourists. It is a blue flag beach and when the tide is out it is exceelent for the kids to play ball. The car park is just above the beach and just across the road. My only "beef" is it cost £4 for the day to park which I think is just a bit steep! There is a good cafe/shop and takeaway just above the beach. We only had drinks so I can't comment on the food. I noticed that some previous reviews had commented about dogs on the beach but we saw no evidence of them while we were there so there was not a problem as far as I could see.
