Good points and bad points as follows.

Pros: You only pay once for dogs (we have two). There's a well-planted garden (paved, not lawned). The cottage is spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and the kitchen well-equipped. There's a Waitrose 11 minutes away by car and Newborough beach and forest which is dog friendly is 15 minutes away by car. I don't know if this is always the case but it was free to park at Newborough while we were there. The location is good for exploring the rest of the island by car.
Cons: Although it looks as though it is, the garden is not dog secure and both of our dogs got into next door's garden. It's on (next to) a surprisingly busy road. We could only get the microwave to work on the grill function. The cottage provides absolutely nothing. I'm not talking about the absence of the customary pint of milk, bottle of wine and local paper. If only. I'm talking no soap, washing-up liquid, kitchen paper, tea bags, liquitabs and wait for it.... No toilet roll!!

Would we stay again? Now we know what to expect, yes definitely.

Liked best: The decor and cleanliness.
Liked least: The fact that nothing was provided. We have never come across this before in nine years of staying in holiday cottages in the UK.

“Gorgeous little cottage with stunning views”
Reviewed 28 August 2013 for a stay in August 2013

Me and my wife recently stayed here for a week with our 5 month old son. The cottage was very clean and the kitchen was stocked with all amenities required to self cater for. It has a beautiful little garden. The cottage sits in the quiet village of Brynsiencyn, and is easily accessible. It has great access to the Anglesey coastal path and other circular walks. The views from the front overlook Snowdonia. We would certainly stay here again, and definitely recommend this property for anyone wanting to stay on Anglesey.

“Cute, cosy and just lovelly.”
Reviewed 21 March 2013 for a stay in March 2013

Really enjoyed our stay here.. Beautifully renovated cottage, which was well equipped to meet the needs of me, my partner and Victor (the lurcher). Under floor heating a bonus (which Victor especially liked).
The garden is enclosed on the front and back which makes it safe for pets.
The view from the front of the property of the menai straits and the mountins as a back drop are stunning on a clear day.
We found it a very good base to check out beaches and the national park.
One pub and one shop, so take supplies or grab on the way in. We took our own fuel for the burner from home.
The Groeslon pub were very friendly and welcoming to Victor. We gathered some info from some of the local there which was very helpful as well as the info in the cottage. They have wifi access in the Groeslon too, which would have been nice to have in the cottage but not the end of the world eh.
Overall the cottage is extremely clean and of a high standard, and a great location too.
Thanks :)

Liked best: The cottage itself and the standard of cleanliness. The fact we could bring our dog too.
Liked least: Wifi would have been very useful but that might be down to us being too reliant on the internet and we managed okay without (plus perhaps prevented us spending too much time on it) :)

This cottage is absolutely beautiful. It has been renovated to a very high standard and is a perfect holiday getaway. The thing that struck us the most initially was how clean and beautifully turned out it is. The garden is a typical cottage garden, absolutely delightful and lovely to sit in, especially on a sunny morning. The cottage is warm and cosy in the colder weather and is perfect for an Autumn break. It is quaint yet modern and comfortable. (The underfloor heating is a delightful luxury!) It is also in a good location - there are some very nice local walks which you can do from the front door or just a short drive away there is the beautiful town of Beaumaris. We have stayed three times and have booked for a fourth. We will definitely keep going back!
