“Home comforts as standard”

We have just returned from a 'working holiday' helping our daughter and her boyfriend at their cottage on Anglesey and needed to stay near to them - Taldrwst was just the place. A lovely house, which is really comfortable, clean and tidy. The hosts were friendly and the offer of a cup of tea when we arrived was extremely welcome. The breakfast was freshly prepared and well cooked, and eating in the sunny conservatory every morning was a great way to start the day. We totally recommend Taldrwst and would definitely consider staying again. Thank you Mike and Michelle for a lovely few days.

Room Tip: We stayed in Room 5 which had a four poster and was at the front of the house - the views across Sno...

We stayed here for a week and were very impressed by this lovely place. From the minute we arrived we were welcomed like old friends.Mike & Michelle were the perfect hosts who were so friendly & eager to help. The room we had (1)was beautifully presented & both breakfasts &evening meals were delicious. This is an excellent place to stay as it is so near to the mainland as well as having good access to the whole of Anglesey. We managed to visit many places around the island in all types of weather ,delightful beaches, castles and cliffs with fabulous views.
We would recommend Taldrwst to anyone who wants peace & quiet amongst excellent scenery with delightful hosts.

The Taldrwst we found to be absolutely charming. We were made very welcome from the start and as this was our first visit to Anglesey the advice we received from Mike and Michelle as to where to go and what to see was invaluable. The food and service was first rate and the rooms very clean and comfortable. We definitely recommend this gem of a place and hope to return

Room Tip: only four rooms one with a four poster bed

The Taldrwst provides a great base from which to explore both the island of Anglesey and North Wales. The mainland is accessed in under ten minutes and much of Snowdonia in under an hour. Any point on the island is easily reached and although Dwyran is on the side less frequently visited by day trippers there is still much to be seen. Indeed Taldrwst provides a peaceful respite from the hustle and bustle experienced in some of the honeypot locations, giving you a chance to recharge your batteries.
The hosts, Michael and Michelle, are warm and welcoming, putting guests at their ease and creating very much a home from home atmosphere. They want your stay to be enjoyable and will always try to meet your needs whenever practicable.
The full English breakfast sets you up for a day of site seeing and evening meals can be purchased if you wish to stay at the hotel for a reasonable price. There are no local pubs within walking distance but a range of alcoholic drinks can be purchased at very reasonable prices.
This has been our third stay in eighteen months and we envisage visiting again in the near future.

Delighted to find this superb, reasonably priced accommodation on my first visit to Anglesey. Mike and Michelle were very helpful, friendly and welcoming. The accommodation, breakfasts and evening meal were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The local beach at Newborough is well worth a visit and the coastal paths around the island are well maintained, signed and easily accessed.
I know where to stay next time I visit Anglesey
