We visited after a recommendation, on a busy February Saturday night. Many takeaways were being ordered and the restaurant was busy. Despite this, a table for 2 was set quite quickly. The waiter apologised for it being so busy! (no need - as it's good to see a thriving business.) The food and service was excellent and we'll definitely eat there again when we're in the area.

Food here is fantastic but have also had the odd 'just ok' meal. Possibly cooked by different chefs? Will continue to go regularly as a family because if we want to 'add too' or 'don't add' to dish or even add an ingredient that isn't in the dish they are so willing to do so! Best indian restaurant in this area I think.

Great food; generous portions; complimentary poppadums and pickles; attentive but discreet service; decent prices.

We've eaten in Indian restaurants all over the UK (and India!); this is definitely one of the best.

Although living in Beaumaris (where there is also an Indian restaurant, albeit only established a couple of years ago), I've always preferred the food of the above restaurant. The last two I have had, however, have been very disappointing. Can't fault the efficient and friendly service and the complimentary poppadom and pickles. The last time I went, I had a prawn puri (tasty) and a tikka lamb jalfrezi (very bland and flavourless). Has the chef changed? Does anyone else out there agree with my findings? It's always busy.Going to have to stick to Beaumaris next time, I think.

First time we tried this lovely place tonight, and have to say we are very!! impressed. both our meals tasted freshly cooked, and you could really taste the individual herbs and spices in the curry. Beer was lovely crisp and cold. We went on a busy Saturday evening, The restaurant was quite full, yet service was friendly fast and faultless. Staff seem very happy and are extremely attentive. Can highly recommend we will definitely be back.
