Family of 4 (kids 7 + 13) and grandparents. 7 y/o loved it, 13 y/o liked it but many activities were aimed at the younger kids. 13 y/o did like it when a butterfly landed on her head! Wife nearly trod on one. Grandparents enjoyed seeing the kids enjoy themselves. Was there for about 2.5 hours.

Both kids enjoyed stoking a rabbit and guinea pig. Wife was fascinated to learn that goats have rectangular pupils!

We visited pili palas in august and all of the family enjoyed it.

The butterfly section was brilliant. The butterflies were flying around freely and there were so many different varieties to see. It was really interesting to see them feed and after talking to the keeper found out a lot of information about the butterfly's short lifecycle.

Apart from the butterflies, the farm section included some rather funny chickens, bert and ernie the pigs, merecats named after the beatles and a lot more. There was a section on lizards, snakes, spiders; and another section of birds.

It was a fun visit.

I would recommend taking some food with you during school holiday time as the café was heaving , and the service wasn't the fastest.

Visited here at the insistence of my 11 year old..thought it would be small and limited, how wrong I was! The whole attraction was amazing... Interesting and interactive, the animals were all spotlessly clean, we'll cared for and oozing with good health... There was something for everyone. Cafe was clean, good choices and value for money. The staff were so friendly, knowledgeable and friendly. We had a great 3 hours and could have stayed longer!

Lovely day out, went with daughter and her new baby, 14 year old, n 7 year old grandson. Butterfly house amazing but any more than 1 pram/ wheelchair you have a problem. Apart from that play areas great and a lovely walk around, passing pet zoo n farm animals plus kids get to hold snakes n other animals. Lots of interactive stuff. Also would be OK on wet day as inside things to do as long as its not a busy day.

Went to pili palace last weekend, with 4 children . Slightly over priced as doesn't take long to get round everything. I wouldn't go on a wet day as half the activities were outside. The play areas are really good plenty of space. Lovely for a picnic. Also if you have a large double pushchair/pram you might struggle getting through some of the doors or around the walkways inside.
