“Lovely stay at a lovely place!”
Reviewed 30 September 2013 via mobile

Just returned from a weekend at The Outbuildings staying in The Pink Hut. What a lovely lovely place! The hut was fantastic, very well decorated, great wood burning fire and super views of Snowdon. We had booked to take Huey out for the day but unfortunately he was poorly so we couldn't take it, Bun was very apologetic and received excellent service. Would definitely return and love to stay in one of the other rooms!

We were so diappointed about Huey that you could not go out and thank you for your patience waiting while we tried to mend him, glad you got to South Stack and enjoyed Anglesey, hope to see you again and thank you for writing. Bun

Having stayed last night I feel that to many people love a good rant about bad service!!!! But never tell of all the good times had!!!!

Let's start with the long well kept drive that makes the outbuilding look even more impressive.

On arrival we got met by a lovely pleasant lady by the name of Beth she was happy to show us all the facilities and answer questions that I asked. She then escorted us to our room which I had picked "the pink hut". This was a old shepherds wagon that has been converted into a ensuite room. This room is cosy but romantic and very individual.

The whole site is well kept and looks 5 star. The site has great views of the welsh hills and Anglesey country side.

Well onto breakfast, the lady that cooked was lovely she made every effort to please and happy to help with directions or ideas of what to do. And breakfast set us up for the day.

Overall I would say stay at the outbuildings.

If you want my acreditations then I come from hospitality management back ground and have ran 5 star hotels so please understand I am hard to please but the out buildings nailed every aspects.

Wow! Thank you so much for such a great review, especially nice that you noted the little things like the tidy drive. Thank you from Beth and Hilary and the drive grass cutter!

Its not often you find somewhere you cannot fault. This is the perfect ten! Peace, comfort, quality and class at an affordable price. Rooms finished to highest spec, food to match and peace. This is a rare and special place! Cant wait to go back!

Room Tip: The only choice to consider is bath or shower?

We have recently returned from the Outbuildings after spending a wonderful week on our honeymoon, staying in the glorious pink hut!

Firstly we would like to say that we can not thank everybody enough for their kindness and for making our stay so enjoyable we felt so welcome, nothing was made to feel too big or too small and your recommendations and suggestions as to where to go and what to eat meant that we had the pleasure of eating in lots of lovely places and making the most of our time in Anglesey.
Despite eating at many lovely places we believe that eating at the Outbuildings is A MUST the food was cooked to a FANTASTIC standard and a Francois was very accommodating. The food is one of many reasons why we look forward to returning and out of all the places we visited on the island was by far the best!

The Pink hut itself was fantastic, beautifully decorated and lovely and cosy, it is positioned slightly away from the Outbuilding itself which makes it lovely and private and the views of Snowdon are fantastic. The Outbuilding space is a lovely place to relax and the decor and attention to detail should not be overlooked!

We also had a fantastic day out in Huey, he is brilliant, once your master the gears which took us some time! :)

We don't believe that anything we write could do this place justice, we hold many happy memories of our time at the Outbuildings and look forward to creating many more for years to come. Thank you!

Room Tip: The pink hut is perfect for two to escape from the rest of the world.

My husband and I stayed for one night with our 14 month old daughter. Beautiful setting, superb accommodation and friendly, professional staff. We stayed in the Pink Spotty Jug room which was quite spacious with enough room for our daughter to place/explore...even with the travel cot in the room. I highly recommend booking in for dinner...Francois served up a delicious smoked haddock rarebit starter followed by sage butter fillet of beef for mains and chocolate slice with toffee sauce dessert. Simply divine! Breakfast was equally yummy too. Although the Outbuildings is not a typical 'child friendly' place, the staff went out of their way to accommodate our daughter sourcing soya products, providing a travel cot etc plus there was plenty of soft grass for her to run around and explore.
It's the attention to detail that really marks this place out. From the lush interiors to Jo Malone cologne and shared histories on the wall. I would highly recommend the Outbuildings to all.

We recently returned here following our first visit 18 months ago. Both visits were great and we hope to make it a regular occurrence! The setting is beautiful - feels like the middle of nowhere, but not far from the A55. We've stayed in the 'Pink Spotty Jug' and the 'Granary Steps' - both rooms are beautifully finished with big comfy beds. The only criticism was the lack of shower screen in the Granary Steps - there was a shower over the bath but difficult to use without spraying water everywhere, so we chose a room with a shower rather than a bath for our second visit. The evening meal is a set menu with beautifully and simply cooked local produce - dinner alone makes this place well worth the visit - and a delicious breakfast served in the farmhouse-style kitchen. We hope to visit again soon!

What an amazing place hardly a B&B! Beautifully thought out rooms and decor. Staff friendly and helpful as well as efficient and pleasant and the owner Bun was so lovely. The only small niggle is size of fridge and no shower screen especially when it's hot, shower is much more preferable to a bath, otherwise excellent. We stayed in the Button Room.

Room Tip: Worth a trip to Anglesey just to stay there !
