“Nice quiet walk”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 July 2013

For a nice little walk, park in the coed cyrnol car park and stroll through the wood down to the lovely historic church island. Not to hard if taken slowly. Good views of the bridges.

“Peaceful, scenic; a must-see in Anglesey”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 June 2013

If you're ever in Anglesey, this quaint little church is a must-see. The surrounding graveyard is so beautiful, calming and peaceful. The little church itself - St Tysilio's - is so quaint and picturesque. After strolling around the graveyard, reading the various tombstones, and checking out the inside of the church, we wandered around the surrounding forest. It was raining, but still so pleasant. The air was so fresh. There was a fog which meant we couldn't see the Britannia Bridge extremely clearly, but the fog gave it quite a mystical look and we still got some great pictures. A very enjoyable start to our day. As I say, if you ever are in Anglesey, this is a must-see. We had some difficulty locating the parking lot, but locals were very helpful and directing us to the right place.

“Well worth a visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 September 2012

This tiny church located on a tiny island in the Menai Straits is a little sanctuary. It is well worth visiting and having a stroll along the Belgium promenade into Menai. Church island is very picturesque, and the church an oasis of calm.

“A very special place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 August 2012

As you come over Menai Suspension Bridge onto Anglesey you can park on the left hand side in a small car park and walk down to St Tysilio's Church. Church services are still held in this tiny church which is perched right next to the sea with spectacular views along the Menai Straits towards the Britannia Bridge. There is a lovely churchyard attached to the church and then you can walk along the Belgian Promenade which takes you to the bottom of Menai Suspension Bridge. There are places to sit and watch the world go by and plenty of birdlife so take your binoculars.
