We walked around Menai Bridge to see what was on offer at the various restaurants but stopped at the Anglesey Arms for an afternoon drink whilst there we were very impressed as to the friendliness of the staff, therefore after looking at the menu decided to have our evening meal there. We were given a choice as to where we would like to sit and the table was reserved.
On returning we were greeted like old friends and immediately escorted to our table. The food arrived in a very short time and to say the presentation, quantity and quality was second to none and the chef is to be congratulated on turning out two excellent plates of food. I had the lamb and my wife had the chicken. The staff were very attentive to our needs at all time and carried out their duties in a very friendly quiet way. I was very impressed with one young waitress when I pointed out that two middle aged customers on the terrace were throwing scraps of food off their plates for the seagulls to eat without a moments notice she was outside and very politely asked them to refrain from this practice which they did and they also picked up the discarded food from the floor. The cost of the food and wines were very reasonable and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience there and should we be in the area again will definitely visit the Anglesey Arms again
