“Sunny lunch on the deck”
Reviewed 3 August 2014 via mobile

We took my brother and his partner who eat out in the best places around the world and they were wowed by Dylan's in every way, even though my brother doesn't eat any fish. We all had different food, and all were charmed and delighted by the food, service and atmosphere. We had booked and the table was inside, but it was no trouble when we asked to go outside, where surprisingly no one had chosen to sit, despite the fabulous sunshine glittering onto the Straits. Coming back next Tuesday for my son's birthday. He's vegetarian, but I know we will all be accommodated. Looking forward to it! :)

Despite having booked in (and, yes, you really do need to book) on one of the busiest nights of the Graduation Season, the service at Dylan's was never less than first rate, and I had a meal of the most spectacular Halibut which followed some already pretty impressive fish cakes, neither of which you should miss out on in my opinion, even though the boxed burgers looked pretty good, too. So the seafood is good, and I hear great things about the pizzas, too, and it's all served up in a stylish and modern environment with a rather enviable view. We liked it so much that we are seriously considering driving over one afternoon just to eat there again. Not only that, but when we called in for coffee and cake the day before to make our booking, that was pretty enjoyable, too.

The only downside was the bounciness of the floor in front of the till causing a corresponding bounciness to our table, but even that I'd only put down to the enthusiasm of a very friendly team of staff.

Really, truly, an excellent place to eat.

“Extraordinary seafood”
Reviewed 1 August 2014

We visited Dylan's twice within a few days and on both occasions could not believe how good the seafood was. After chasing round Brittany, the Vendee, the Arcachon Basin and other places for the past four summers, searching for, and dining at an assortment of specialist restaurants, nothing came close! The quality of seafood we enjoyed was magnificent. The ambience of the restaurant appealed to us and the staff quite exemplary.
Looking forward to another visit very soon.

“Brilliant location brilliant food”
Reviewed 1 August 2014 via mobile

Visited Dylan's after seeing reviews on here. Wasn't disappointed. Lovely looking restaurant and excellent service from all the staff.

We sat upstairs in the middle of the restaurant yet still had a great view down the Strait from our table.

Dyl's beef burger and fish finger burger served in a box were excellent. Massive burger beautifully cooked. Chunky chips are amazing!

Ordered one kids meal and pizza was a little on the small size but perfect for 7 yr old. Our 10 yr old had pizza off the main menu and it was perfect size for him.

Recommend booking as it was really busy but service was good. Will be returning next time we're in Anglesey

“Can't fault it. Superb! ”
Reviewed 31 July 2014 via mobile

Not sure where to start! I've been here with my wife six times before. Every single time the service had been excellent with friendly staff, the food is beyond amazing. Even the coleslaw is well presented and with the best ingredients. The atmosphere is happy because everyone is enjoying themselves. Went tonight and we had our final drink on the balcony outside and the owner and staff came out with blankets. The owner is hugely proud of the place and rightly so. A huge amount of effort has gone into making this place a good place to eat and you know they work hard to give great customer service. The place is packed and we spoke to people from York and Ireland and they just said we are lucky to have this place on our doorstep. The best place to go for food in the area. Thank you again for a brilliant meal and staff service. Cannot fault this place.
