This Guest House is not to be missed as its location is ideal for exploring Anglesey and Snowdonia. The owner Elaine makes you feel very at home from the minute you arrive. The rooms are large, spotlessly clean, with a large good quality shower, they are very well furnished with comfortable armchairs and for those who require such things a large TV.The view from our room looked down the Menai Straits to the Britannia Bridge. The breakfast was substantial and very well cooked with a very good choice to suit all tastes. Bryn Aethwy is only a few minutes walk from the centre of town where there is a good selection of restaurants of both Western and Eastern varieties. The only very small problem we encountered was that the twin beds had memory foam mattresses which for a couple who prefer to sleep on as hard a mattress as possible it was a little off putting, but we are glad to say that now we have slept on them we will stick to what we have, as we were prior to this considering buying one.

Room Tip: Room 3 has a good view of the Straits but a little road noise if you leave the windows open but only...

My sister and I spent a lovely few days here. Elaine, the proprietor is very friendly, welcoming and helpful with local information and suggestions. We loved the house, our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh milk and cold water available. I don't eat a cooked breakfast but there is a good choice for those who do plus cereals and fruit. The views are great and the bus stop five minutes away.We didn't have a car and were impressed by the bus service on the Island and were able to get around very well. Some beaches, such as Aberffraw and Newborough require a walk from the bus stop but if you can it is well worth the effort. We found bus drivers very helpful as is the TI at LlanfairPG. There is a good choice of restaurants and pubs within a five, ten minute walk. We would definitely go back and would recommend Bryn Aethwy and Menai Bridge'

We have just spent a delightful week at Bryn Aethwy. The large double bed was welcome after spending the day exploring the southern half of Anglesey. There was a range of options for the well presented breakfasts to satisfy all tastes. The whole atmosphere was very friendly which contributed to a relaxing break.

From the welcome on arrival to the moment we left everything was perfect. The room was spotlessly clean and well maintained, as well as stocked with tea etc. Breakfast was cooked exactly as requested and the views could not have been better looking straight out across the straits. The owner gave us recommendations on local restaurants on arrival and there was plenty of local information both in the room and in the entrance hall. the only way the owner could have improved our stay would have been to stop the rain for us - all in all a fabulous b&b and we will definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: We had the 4 poster room which afforded fabulous views of the straits and the Britannia Bridge

I visited this B+B on business and was made to feel very welcome. It is in a good location for visiting the Isle of Anglesey and has lovely views over the Menai Straits. A bit dated décor that could do with an update and breakfast could have been better. None the less I would recommend a visit here since this is a good location to explore Anglesey.

Lovely place for couples, near stunning scenarios and rich of places to visit. The hotel is really tidy and clean, not easy to find, but have to blame GPS systems for that. Some more signs on the road would have helped too. Inside is really nice and good views of the surroundings. The owner is really friendly and you have a variety of choices for breakfast chosen at the moment. Recommended.
