“What a gem! Can't wait to go back!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 May 2013

We have just returned from a wonderful, relaxing 1 night break at this beautiful B&B run by the helpful and very friendly Pat and John. They made our stay effortless and ensured we definitely got the most out of our weekend! Anglesey is my favourite place and I have been going since a child but have recently been staying for the odd weekend with my partner - we now know where to come back to in future!

The room itself was bright, spacious and had it's own sunroom overlooking the well tended gardens. Attached to the main house, this little annex had it's own entrance so we weren't bothering Pat and John with our comings and goings and even had it's own little galley kitchen to prepare our own snacks or drinks if required. A nice touch was the flask left in case we wanted to go out walking with a drink! Breakfast was included and what a breakfast! I am a big fan of food and John's breakfast was superb - couldn't fault anything! Breakfast was served in the little lounge area off the room with a big TV, comfy sofa and even it's own lemon tree!

On arrival we were treated to Pat's homemade cake and a cup of tea in the sun room before she helped us to make plans for the rest of the weekend! Helpful, friendly and yet unobtrusive - Pat and John are the perfect hosts. The room was very clean and the bed so comfy! Fantastic nights sleep!

Thank you so much, I loved every minute of this weekend! Once we have our dates sorted for June, we will be back!

I stayed just one night in the "stone hut" annex at Tyn Lon and wished I'd been staying for longer. The self-contained bedroom and shower-room are simply and cleanly decorated, with an immensely comfortable bed (and an inviting looking child size bed in the loft). The owners were friendly and welcoming, providing our party with tea and cakes within minutes of our arrival, and providing an excellent breakfast the next morning. I would highly recommend this B & B.

We have been to this delightful B&B 3 times. The full Welsh Breakfast really starts the day well and also we are in the company of Pat and John, the very welcoming owners of the Tyn Lon. We have stayed in the annex at the side of the house twice and once in the sun room. The facilities are great with your own kitchen with complimentary tea and biscuits. Moelfre is a pretty seaside village with lovely coastal walks. It is also a great base to see the rest of Anglesey.

We stayed here in May this year returning for a second time.
The owners Pat and John, again provided everything we could ever hope for during our stay.
As usual upon arrival after being shown to our room we were treated to a slice of Pat's scrumptious home made cake and a lovely cuppa!
We had full use of the private kitchen which was stocked with complimentary tea, coffee, etc and a selection of biscuits, even though these were also provided in our well appointed en-suit room. Elsie our dog also was made very welcome with Pat offering her blankets. Talk about a dog's life!
John's superb, hearty Welsh breakfast really set us up for the day.
Tyn Lon is only a five minute drive from the stunning beach at Lligwy, and along with the nearby Benllech and Red Wharf bays, this charming little B and B provides the perfect base to explore the stunning east coast of Anglesey, and hopefully it won't be long before we return.
We cannot recommend this place highly enough.

This was a very comfortable B&B because the ground floor rooms in which we stayed were like a mini-suite: double bedroom, en-suite shower room, private sun-room/conservatory AND use of the kitchen with full range of appliances including washing machine and tumble dryer (to be used with permission). None of the rooms is large but the combination was excellent for us as walkers and would be equally good for tourers. Highly recommended for anyone walking the coast path.
Pat and John were very welcoming and helpful.
There is also an annexe with a double bedroom but we didn't see this.
Tyn Lon is not on the sea but is on a quiet road only a few hundred yards back from the village centre, which has a shop, good pub and cafe.
