Just returned from a weeks stay at this fabulous house. Perfect set up. Modern and bright, great living dining area with doors opening out onto a decked area and small but adequate garden. Kitchen well equipped. Bedrooms fantastic with loads of storage. Couldn't figure out the bath taps but used the shower to fill the bath which was no problem. It is in a perfect location just behind the coastal cafe. 5 minutes walk from the beach. It's so peaceful at night too. Only realised 5 days in, that there was a rotary washing line in the shed at the front of the cottage. Wish we had known earlier as we struggled getting washing dry ( Family of 4 generate a lot of washing!). Underfloor heating downstairs was great but couldn't work the central heating. Downstairs toilet was a plus! Nice touches with the picnic rucksack, dog bowls and poo bags under the sink and beach gear in the shed (not that we needed them as the weather wasn't great). All in all it was like being at home and ever so comfortable. I can't recommend highly enough. It was great and i can't wait to return. Communication with the owner prior to booking, was brilliant too! Loved the place!
We have been to Anglesey now for the past 3 years and this as got to be the best stay we have had, clean and tidy, very well equipped for all your needs, lovely private garden with our poppy loved, very close to the beach with stunning views, excellent costal walks, dog friendly pubs very close by, Ann’s pantry also dog friendly, which made our stay fabulous we will definitely be coming back.
Just back from a week in Moelfre. Stayed in the village at Tawelfa and had a great time. Tawelfa is a perfect base, modern yet homely and would not hesitate to stay there again. Visited the Kinmel Arms which served quality food and real ale. The kids pottered on the beach and found the coastal walk lovely to clear the cobwebs. Great places visited included South Stack, Red Wharf Bay and Plas Newydd.
