Lavender Cottage at the end of a cul-de-sac with a great view of the sea from the large roof garden.
Yes lavender is the theme! ... with lavender paintwork and lavender growing in the front garden.
View from the large lounge (seating seven) looking through the dining area to the conservatory.
The dining area may be approached via the lounge, kitchen or the conservatory.
The kitchen has a d/washer, micro, dbl. oven, fr. freezer, wash. m/c, coffee m/c ... etc., etc.
The conservatory leads out onto the main patio via the double doors.
This shows the 3 piece, the dbl. breakfast table, the storage box/table & blinds going all around.
Looking inwards towards the dining area beyond. There is a remotely controlled central light/fan.
The double room is very comfortable (as is the bed!) and well furnished with lots of storage, etc.
Again the twin room has comfortable beds ... which can be pushed together and there is good storage.
The single or twin room. A guest bed comes up to the height of the main bed and forms an 'L' shape.
This shows the view from the landing ... looking to the roof garden and beyond to the sea.
The bathroom is very attractive and also has under floor heating to make it even more comfortable.
The shower is electric which is separate from the tank and there is also a heated radiator.
The garden is private and secure and the small patio can be seen in the far right corner.
The main patio and the stairs up to the roof garden ... photo taken out of season we do weeding!!!
The roof garden has access from the patio or the landing. It has both dining and lounging furniture.
This shows a little bit of the view from the roof garden. Beyond the 2 fields is the cliff path.
Moelfre's pebble beach, once important for herring fishing. The lifeboat house is round the corner.
The beautiful Swnt cottages, only 5 minutes away, next to the rock pool beach and the fishing rocks.
The amazing statue of Dick Evans, the famous lifeboat cox of Moelfre, at sunrise over Snowdonia.
The sculptor Sam Holland created this statue and has captured an exact likeness to the great man.
This is Moelfre's new and prestigious lifeboat station which houses a new larger boat as well.
A memorial depicting The Royal Charter disaster which occurred just a short walk from the cottage.
Lligwy beach is great for dog walking and safe for swimming. It is just a short walk round the path.
The other side of Lligwy beach looking along the cliff path. There is a cafe, toilets and parking.

“Perfect location”
Reviewed 20 June 2018 for a stay in May 2018

You can arrive here and not drive again, if you're just here for a weekend. The coastal walks are lovely and, although we didn't, you could easily go into the village on foot for the pub or cafe. The property is great for dogs, we took two, and the little back garden is secure. The kitchen is spacious, please provide a cafetière rather than a coffee machine! But I have to say it is, otherwise, well equipped. There is lots of space, absolutely ok for six adults - only one couple would have a double bed but we felt that, certainly for a weekend, the bedroom space would be fine for six. The location is great and the "over the garage" roof terrace gives lovely views. We hope to return.

“Pet friendly, well located cottage”
Reviewed 17 June 2018 for a stay in June 2018

Lavender Cottage is dog friendly with secure back garden. The cottage has a wonderful quiet location with private parking. The rooftop balcony affords amazing views over the coastal path to the sea. New balcony furniture was very comfortable. Love reading in the conservatory. Very conveniently located for many trips to places of interest on the island of Anglesey and the mainland. A warm welcome from the owner Keith. A very relaxing holiday, thank you Keith.

“Another Lovely Stay”
Reviewed 13 May 2018 for a stay in April 2018

This was our second stay at this very comfy and well equipped cottage. The views from the roof terrace are fabulous and Moelfre is a lovely village and in a great location to access the rest of the island and the mainland. Its not a question of if we will stay here again - just when.

Just back from a stay at Lavender cottage.
Lovely cozy cottage, with super views from the roof terrace.
The cottage is equipped with everything you need and more. Keith the owner is very friendly and escorted us up to the cottage to show us around.
Moelfre is only a short walk away and you can see the cliff path from the cottage, fantastic for walking the dog.

“100 %”
Reviewed 19 March 2018 for a stay in March 2018

We enjoyed our stay in Lavender Cottage .
Keith is a charming and welcoming host and the house is a home from home with everything you could possibly need .

The beds were comfortable , the house very clean and lots of heaters to keep you warm ; useful if your stay is out of season as ours was , in very stormy weather .
The house is very well situated near the costal path and the centre of Moelfre and the view from the terrace of the sea is amazing.
I give Keith 100 % - this was one of my best TripAdvisor rentals.

We stayed here recently and had a lovely relaxing weekend away. This cottage is in a stunning location is very comfortable, clean and very well stocked. It has everything and it’s dog friendly.
The owner is lovely, very approachable, helpful and attentive without being invasive and left us with a thoughtful little gift of wine and biscuits.....thank you very much Keith. We would definitely return here.

We stayed at Lavender cottage with our three boys aged 11, 9 and 7 during the half term hols. Straightaway we were made to feel very welcome by Keith and he made sure we knew where everything was in the cottage , he even left us some buiscuits and a bottle of Prosecco which we thought was a really nice touch. The cottage had everything you needed and was very spacious inside , the beds were really comfortable and the heating kept the cottage lovely and warm. The views from the cottage were lovely , the roof terrace was great but it was the wrong time of year for us to use it , it would be fab in the summer. There was plenty of information in the cottage about exploring the island and we did that and found some lovely little places to explore with our boys.
Bellench beach just down the road was lovely and we spent several hours on here shell hunting with our boys . We also enjoyed Beaumaris , lovely views and we were also able to have a tour of the lighthouse by one of the RNLI volunteers which the boys thought was fantastic , they even got to try on some of the uniform. We also drove further round the island to Treaddur bay which which had a lovely rocky beach and gorgeous views . We went to a lovely cafe called the sea shanty and had a lovely coffee and cake and the boys had ice cream there was loads of flavours to choose from.
For shopping supplies there was a Tesco just down the road from the cottage in Bellench which was really handy . Just behind the Tesco was a chippy which we went to on our last night which i would highly reccommend , the best fish and chips weve had in a long while. We would highly reccommend Lavender cottage we had a fabulous stay there and would love to go back and stay there in the summer next time.
