“Great fun / value for money..!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 August 2014

We took our young boy aged 6 and thought this is a great fun little attraction.

You get what it says on the tin, (a model village) with some jokes thrown in on name places. You can do a family quiz if you want to (sheet handed to you on admission), and some great little trains for the little fella.

Just out of the model village, near the cafe / picnic area the kids can ride on a small train (Ivor).

Overall we had good fun, it was relatively quiet and was great value for money.

I would highly recommend.

“Tiny place, tiny entrance fee!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 August 2014

We walked around in record time - the models are very cute however they could have done with a bit of weeding as there were giant nettles hanging over some of the houses and one of the "street" models had a giant weed against a house - the gardens are not massive and neither is the "model village" - however the entrance fee is tiny for a tiny attraction!

The "train" track along one side of the garden where we had a cup of tea was very funny - my 6 year old daughter got on, we put the coin in the slot and she pushed the lever forward and to her amazement she started to move along the track - however the track also needed some pruning back as the trees hanging down in her way was not good - the fun bit was getting to the end of the track and pushing the lever the other way and she reversed all the way back!! hilarious!! when we watched our video back - she went back and forth, back and forth - highlight of her day!!!

It was a pleasant trip out and the lady who took our entrance fee and served our teas was very friendly - why wouldn't you take a spin out to see the "tiny village" - only a tiny fee!!

“Model Village!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 July 2014 via mobile

I very much enjoyed my visit to the model village. At £3 for an adult I don't see how anyone can call it a rip off.
It's some good, old fashioned fun.
The highlight for me was definitely the small trains that ran around the model village.
It's far from a full day activity but is a nice little trip out.

Thank Liz S

“Low price, small choice. It's fine.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 July 2014

Seen other's comments, I would not blame the place. It's just £3 per adult. (other attractions £25 p/p). So what do you expect for £3 ?

Of course it is not a massive place, but I accept it's fine for the price paid to enjoy a little one for a while. Small ride on train available for little ones. I enjoyed an hour without any problem.

“Complete rip off”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 July 2014

This place should not be listed as a tourist attraction. Awful run down models of houses. Only takes a few minutes to get round only a few to look at. Dont even bother going.
