“VERY PEACEFULL”
Reviewed 16 April 2014

Have lived here for ever. The most fantastic scenic beach on the island. The forest walks are very quiet and so relaxing.Have spent many hours walking through the forest and on the beach.Safe for swimming and for children. When you first go down on to the beach the views to the left are of Snowdonia and beyond and LLanddwyn Island to the right. The village of Newborough is Small with only one shop and a post office. Two caravan and camping sites both just outside the village. All in all a really lovelly area.

“Romantic & Scenic Beach”
Reviewed 29 January 2014

This is one of the best beach or Island I ever visited. Scenic beauty soothes your senses. You must walk 1 mile on the beach to reach the Island to see the view from top of the Island. At the junction if you cross the rocks the beach on the other side is good to swim & take bath.

We did see some 3 nude couples taking bath in chilling winter (1 deg c) CRAZY!!!!!!!!

You must visit this place & you should not miss it.

“A lovely beach”
Reviewed 6 December 2013

Newborough is nondescript village. There was a sign to the beach which had recently been transformed - a walkway going out over the beach, the view northwards to a long promontory with an island (Ynys Llanddwyn) and lighthouse.

“The area's best kept secret”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

This area is really beautiful. There's plenty of car parking - little car parks at Pen-lôn and Penras Terrace or take the toll road from the centre of the village right to the shore. Brilliant for walks and watching the wildlife - rabbits to horses and all manner of birds. On the eastern side there is the River Braint and the Stepping Stones (try crossing that with a bike!). and on the west the Warren becomes Newborough Forest.
