Just come back from a wonderful stay at Hilltop - can't recommend it enough. The house is wonderful - light, airy and spacious, yet really homely too. The location was perfect for the beach and other local amenities. This is my first ever review - but our stay was that good, I felt compelled to share!
Just returned from 5 days at Hilltop with 2 families including 2 teenagers.
The house is an great position, with high views of the surrounding areas, including the coast, the gardens are huge, big enough for a game of rounders!
Great view of the jets taking off/landing at RAF Valley.
The house has everything you need, the rooms are really spacious and the bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious, especially the large deep bath... nice for those cosy nights...
The kitchen is well equipped for any meal type, dishwasher & large fridge/freezer were fab.
There is plenty of walks near by, and the local pubs are excellent.
Just returned from a 4 day break. What an amazing house. A lot of work has been done here if previous reviews are to be believed. A warm welcoming spacious house with idyllic views. Great coastal walks and local pubs serve fantastic food. The house is equipped with everything you could need. A good family house, and equally a great place to go with friends. Can’t recommend enough, we’ll definitely be back.
Back home for another lovely few day at Hilltop. It was so lovely to light the fire and spend the cold evenings in the house. We will be back in the Summer to (hopefully)! make use of the garden. Paul was as helpful as always and there clearly had been some work done on the house.
I visited Hilltop with a group of friends for a walking break. When we arrived there was plenty of room for all of us to park our cars at the front of the house. On entering the house I was impressed with the amount of communal dining and living space. There is a large well equipped kitchen and dining area, an adjoining lounge with large comfortable sofas, a sun lounge at the front of the house and a totally separate lounge area for anyone who perhaps wants a bit of peace and quiet. The bedrooms are all pretty spacious and the family bathroom is large with a separate bath and walk-in shower cubicle. There is a double bedroom upstairs which is quite private with its own shower room. There is plenty of room in the garden for children, pets (or grown ups!) to run around. The house is located close to Rhoscolyn and Silver Bay beaches, both of which are lovely. It is also easy to access the Anglesey Coastal path on foot from the house, and whilst we were staying at Hilltop we did manage a couple of long walks along the coast where the views are stunning. On a couple of the nights of our stay we also walked over to the White Eagle pub and restaurant where they serve great food if you don't feel like catering for yourselves. Overall a great, spacious house with plenty of room, in a great location.

My family and I had a lovely short break at Hilltop. When pulling into the drive I was a little concerned - as previous reports have said the outside does need a little TLC but that really didn't bother us as the inside was just fine for whatever at we needed. We were a party of 7 and there was plenty of space with a separate lounge for the children. The beach was a short walk and the house had a very large garden for the kids. A critical eye of mine said there is some work to be done but it suited us just fine - a well equipped kitchen and a lovely fire to sit around on a cooler night. We will return.
