Cefn Dref is easy to find, has good off road parking and occupies an outstanding setting. The owners, Derek and Gill, provided a warm welcome and were attentive to our needs throughout our stay. Our room was clean and well prepared and included a small fridge which came in handy. Breakfast is something to look forward to and includes quality locally sourced ingredients cooked to perfection. The surrounding area is also rich in various activities and there good local bars and restaurants in easy walking distance. The only negative we can come up with is that the beds were a little soft for our liking but bearable for a short stay. Would definitely recommend this B&B and would happily go back there.

Room Tip: If a view is important, choose a room overlooking the lake.

Our 2 night weekend break started with a warm welcome and just got better. We booked the beautiful Snowdon Suite which has spectacular views over Lake Maelog and the sea. And the full English breakfast cooked to order is simply wonderful. Derek and Gill have lovingly restored this wonderful Edwardian building in keeping with its period. Definitely a place to return to!!!

Room Tip: The Snowdon Suite is at the side of the property and overlooks Lake Maelog with the Mount Snowdon in...

We have now stayed 3 times with Gill and Derek over 3 years, and I'm happy to say the standards are always high with no slacking in view! :o)
Breakfast is delicious and abundant, "our" room lovely and clean, and the hosts like family!
See you next year!

Room Tip: call as Gill and Derek are very accomodating and will try to shift bookings to help you out.

The stay was second to none including the warm welcome from Gill and Derek, the house is beautiful and in a lovely setting. The house has been lovingly restored by Gill and Derek to a high standard and in keeping with its age. We had booked a twin room and on arrival were offered a double if we wanted but we were more than happy with the twin as it had everything we needed. The breakfast selection is excellent

Excellent location with a couple of minutes walk into the village and access to all the amenities. The beach is a short stroll and the lake is on the doorstep. The views from the property are beautiful with lots of good walks accessible from the property. The house is spacious with lots of charm and is very clean and well cared for. Our bedroom had a wonderful view of the sea and sand dunes lovely to wake up to every morning.. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and our hosts did all they could to make our stay enjoyable and made my husband and I feel very welcome.

We booked cefn dref for our first family holiday with our little 4month old baby.
We needed a room with ample space for our travel cot and we booked the Snowdon suite which had fantastic views of the lake and lots of space to move around even with the cot set up
Gill and Derek were extremely friendly, and made us feel very welcome.
Breakfast was to a very high standard with plenty of choice (smoked salmon, full English, fruit, cereals, omelette etc)
The location is fantastic also with the oyster catcher restaurant walking distance and the other pubs and restaurants in rhosneignr a short walking distance. We recommend oyster catcher and the thai restaurant ( above the pub)
We will definitely be visiting cefn dref on our next visit to Anglesey

Sensation B& B in prime location on Maelog Lake.
An Edwardian Villa that has been lovingly restored, we had the Maelog Suite which was superb.
Gill and Derek are excellent hosts and the breakfast is out of this world.
We'll be back in September!

Room Tip: The Maelog Suite is self contained and has 2 bedrooms.
